  1. Feyenoord coach Slot explains status of Til at Feyenoord:

Disasterclass by De Jong against Bayern, in all fairness. Subbed out after 70 minutes.

Is this serious? The weather during the winter in Holland can be very nasty. Icy wind, snow, rain, low hanging sun, you name it.

Of course not. I've seen some winter matches that Ajax played at Heerenveen that were far worse than Munich tonight.

  9. Rumours are that ManUnited are willing to pay 65million BPnds for Frenkie.
I wouldnot go there. The epl is a league with butchers and incompetent refs, only carding injury causing fouls made against Einglish players.
Only leave when Bayern knocks on the door.

Yes, he also gets proper rest there rather than making by far the most minutes of anyone in the top five leagues.

Cristiano and Suarez understood it is better for their health to leave the EPL, but that was in a time where La Liga was a top level alternative.

We don't need him unless we are definitely done with Pogba.

He should join de Ligt in Italy. Nice easy pace of play and no real pressure.

Liverpool would be the only club in EPL that suits Frenkie....perennial League and UCL title contenders, high-flying football, many top players on their prime times, Klopp's genius in midfield/attack build up, and of course, the linkage with Virgil van Dijk.

No Man Utd... club that's been in "transition" for a while - no difference than Barcelona atm.

Azor Matusiwa seems to have become a starter at Remis.

    https://www.vi.nl/nieuws/matusiwa-ik-had-niet-verwacht-dat-het-zo-snel-zou-gaan
Matusiwa: 'I didn't expect it to go so fast'

In the Eredivisie, Azor Matusiwa acquired fame as De Golfbreker van Groningen. He also lives up to that reputation at Stade Reims. After nine games, he is already in the top ten in Ligue 1 for successful tackles, in the top twenty in terms of interceptions.

Matusiwa is surprised by those statistics. 'Real? That's new to me," says the midfielder about the signals that tell the story of a particularly smooth adaptation to French football. 'To be honest, I didn't expect it to go so quickly. Of course you hope that you will be in the starting line-up from the first game, but I also took into account a scenario that it would take a little longer. The trainer (Óscar García, ed.) lined me up from the start and I've been there every time since then. He said he knew what I could do for the team because he had seen a lot of images of me. The fact that you subsequently gain so much confidence is a nice confirmation that you are doing a good job.'

What is the biggest change compared to the Eredivisie? 'Still the level', Matusiwa knows. 'You play against better opponents. There are really no easy matches here. What also strikes me: the level is quite even. With Reims we are currently a few places above the relegation zone, but we held our own against a team like AS Monaco. There was no difference in quality at all. So you have to be very sharp every match, because winning and losing are close to each other.'

I can't believe the French league is that much better than the Eredivisie.

  22. Uhm, the Eredivisie is better than the CL. Ajax gets beaten in it and they steamroll the CL groups.

Koopmeiners scored a game winner for Atalanta today, with the help of a friendly deflection. Completed the most passes in the match.

De Roon also started alongside him. Hataboer came in the second half (and missed a point blank shot to seal the game).
