my understanding/ my opinion as a asian american minority with some interaction with middle eastern/western asian peoples in USA... is that of if its not the east asian/south east asian soccer player who is world class soccer player... so for example a minimum target of €20m value on transfermarkt... the middle eastern/western asian peoples... seem to like the prototype east asian/south east asian soccer player that fits the height prototype of the ... 5 ft 4" or 5 ft 5" 5ft 6" or 5ft 7" 5ft 8" or 5ft 9" what's the difference? however do not take my advice as a soccer fan who watches other sports as the testament.. it is just my observation as a minority in USA.. however its better then having no east asian/south east asian players playing soccer in middle east/west asia.. i also get the vibe/mood that in asian american USA... its really east asian/south east asian americans vs the world in USA .. these days especially during coronavirus times... however circumstances change
if someone has some money... a couple of million dollars in cash and is US citizen... i recommend they go scout and recruit some more singers for example that singer rod wave in USA .. its just opinions
this is random however... my opinion is chinese americans do a great job of scouting and recruiting music talent such as rod wave... that is my random opinion.. however i could be wrong
Especially that Beijing constantly refused to release him for the national meetings. That was fvcking annoying.
KMJ played so well in his debut. The guy was an impenetrable wall. 20m pounds looks like a bargain Tottenham missed out on. Someone start a thread
Right now, Scots over on a Celtic forum are praying for him and Oh Hyeon-gyu to come over to Celtic. Apparently, Cho shared Oh's Instagram story post. I'm a fan of both Korean and Japanese players, and for 8 or even 9 to be at my cherished club at once would be a dream come true. Whereas the times of Nakamura, Mizuno, KSY and CDR were flashes of light and hope in the growth of Asian football, now there's a lighthouse. No, a star. Oddly, the man asking for all these hard-working, honest people is an Aussie of Greek blood.
That Aussie manager had a good stint at Yokohama Marinos. That's why he has proactively chased after East Asian talents.
I know, but he's mainly worked with Japanese players. I was pleasantly surprised when we were linked with CGS, but then astounded to hear we want 2 more Koreans. Celtic FC might resemble teams I'd stack with East Asian players on old Championship Manager games.
Celtic FC has offered USD 3.89 million to acquire Suwon Bluewings forward Oh Hyeon-gyu after their initial offer of USD 2.18 million was rejected by the Bluewings. Wow that's heck of $$$. If this becomes true, it will be the record-breaking deal in the K-League history. LCY's transfer fee for his move from FC Seoul to Bolton was around USD 2.73 mil, which has been the highest. https://n.news.naver.com/sports/kfootball/article/311/0001548629 Whereas the Cho Gue-sung saga has become very saddening.
Actually, Kim Sang-shik just wants to win trophies at all cost to keep his job. I bet he's been on hot seat since Jeonbuk was eliminated from ACL semifinals and failed to win K-League last year.
BTW isn't this so ironic? OGH wasn't even included the regular 26-man roster but has got more media attention after the World Cup. CGS scored first ever multiple goals in a single World Cup final match as a Korean footballer but his chances to move to Europe is getting slim.
CGS has been indecisive. There were 3 clubs in for him, and he's been told a winter transfer is bad. OHG had only Celtic's bid, but he's immediately shown interest without any doubts. Our manager Postecoglou apparently still wants both. 11 days left.
OHG will undergo medical for Celtic https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2023/01/...-sign-14-goal-star-oh-hyeon-gyu-he-wants-move
