A thousand times "NO" !! Football lawmakers IFAB are set to discuss extending the half-time break to 25 minutes on Thursday. Part of a proposal put forward by South American federation CONMEBOL, it is viewed as an attempt to introduce "Super Bowl-style" half-time shows into football. The International Football Association Board (IFAB) will meet on Thursday for their annual business meeting, overseen by FIFA , with the Daily Mail reporting that the item is not currently on the agenda. However, the report claims that it will be discussed at the end of the meeting, with the current law stating that “players are entitled to an interval at half-time, not exceeding 15 minutes”.
