I was wondering after Gundogan retires from NT after 2022 World Cup, can any of the 4 players take his spot Denis Geiger Vitaly Janelt Niklas Dorsch Anton Stach all are 23 years old at this moment…to me Geiger is a like a like replacement of Gundogan with less flair in attack and more sturdiness in defensive duties
interesting how Tuchel plays Havertz as CF. Think he is improving his overall game in that position, just need more goals. Lukaku was impressive from start in Chelsea but has not been able to keep it up so far. Might be a chance for Havertz to actually get a lot of playingtime as a CF
Imo it impaires his best talents, his vision, acceleration and passing. He is way better with the game in front of him and I am sure a Tuchel only plays him as false 9 because there is no other possibility to integrate Havertz otherwise.
there is also Maier and Ozcan (on rise) for young Ms who XI in 1BL. but tend to think the real class Ms are in younger age group aka still in YNT. do like Geiger a lot but sadly injury prone.
Nico Schlotterbeck in the Bundesliga this season:☑️14 games☑️1 goal☑️52 passes per 90☑️80% pass accuracy☑️2.2 tackles won per 90☑️2.1 interceptions per 90☑️4.2 clearances per 90☑️69% of aerial duels won☑️65% of all duels wonTurned 22 this month. An absolute beast. 🇩🇪 pic.twitter.com/Bc2IyfN41i— Football Talent Scout - Jacek Kulig (@FTalentScout) December 5, 2021 Florian Wirtz registered another 2 assists today. 10 – Jonathan Burkhardt has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, the most by a German player in Europe’s top five leagues this season. We should all be careful of overvaluing players based upon routs of weak opponents. That said I am a huge fan of Florian Wirtz and he is absolutely NT calibre. His performance in that game was fantastic albeit subdued for someone of his attacking quality. He seemed happy to play a supporting role. Not disagreeing with you, but in place of who for the starting line-up? Assuming Germany is using the 4-2-3-1 formation with a CAM (his primary role), the Flick's current XI is probably this: Neuer Hofmann Sule Rudiger Raum Goretzka Kimmich Gnabry Muller Sane Werner The like for like swap is Wirtz for Muller, but Muller is better atm (in a year who knows). The other position Wirtz is best known for is RAM. Do you take out Gnabry for him?
A player to consider in coming years: Marco Rente (CB; 24 years; 6 feet). Plays in Eredevisie. Second season for him after moving to Heracles from BVB II. Defensive stats are very good: Interceptions: 3.9/game (#1 in league) Clearances: 4.5/game (#5 in league) Tackles: 2.6/game (#12 in league) Aerial duels won: 2.3/game....a weak point Passing: 85%.
I have a very serious question for anyone and everyone. Has Matthias Ginter progressed in any meaningful way from the player that BVB bought and sold years ago?
Rente needs higher level, so for now these more likely 95-Stark, Friedrich 96-Kempf, Anton, Baumgartl, Hubers 97-Torunarigha, Uduokhai, K.Schlotterbeck 98-Leitsch, Jaeckel, Pieper 99-N.Schlotterbeck, Klilian, Jenz of course not all listed are XI and some injured but at least playing higher level. once he moves could be contender.
Thank you. IMHO a classic case of developed fast, peaked early, and made no significant progression since then.
I am following Luca Kilian…he is also only 22 like Schlotterbeck and making progress this season…not everyone peaks at 22 so want to keep a eye on his development in coming months
Stark & Kempf were a very successful partnership in DFB youth teams, 2014 Euro u19 winners and 2017 Euro u21 winners. Shame that injuries have affected their pro careers.
Why? I hope not. Kehrer is a CB and not really a FB, even though he can play RB or LB. Honestly once fit Gosens will probably be ahead of both of them. Both Raum and Gosens bring much more in attack as FBs than Kehrer.
