Marcus Rashford has criticised the removal of the £20 universal credit uplift, calling it “a move that could see child poverty rise to 1 in 3 children”.He was speaking as he became the youngest ever recipient of an honorary degree from The University of Manchester. pic.twitter.com/ODXgCb2xQV— BBC Breakfast (@BBCBreakfast) October 7, 2021 Dr Marcus Rashford of the University of Manchester Continuing to make his fans very proud.
🚨 Marcus Rashford camp unhappy at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer telling #MUFC striker to “prioritise his football”. They accept no harm meant & Solskjaer was complimenting 23yo but fact he said that + the headline news it created has gone down badly @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/YUCVmMauLG— David Ornstein (@David_Ornstein) October 18, 2021
Completely agree, when i read the headline and then the article i realized Ole has chosen wrong set of words in a country where black player are always targeted negatively by press.
Solskjaer on Rashford injury: "Dead leg, they can take longer than what you want. If we treat it well he should be OK." #MUFC— Laurie Whitwell (@lauriewhitwell) October 20, 2021 Fingers crossed he can be ready for Pool: he puts the fear of God on Trent and that high line of theirs.

Marcus Rashford is such a beacon of socialist goodness he refuses to play well on the right-wing.what an icon.— Muhammad Butt (@muhammadbutt) December 2, 2021 In all seriousness though, that is something that left me perplexed pretty much all game long today. Rashford being mediocre/weak on the right is not news and simply did not understand why he was deployed there, when Sancho has already shown he's perfectly capable of playing well there. And with Rashford's form being dodgy as it is at the moment, it was just felt like an odd decision.
He has been shit, he needs to sit on the bench. He is not good enough at nine position, not good enough at LW or RW. Until Rangnick coaches him up he needs to make way to Greenwood and Martial.
It's a tough spot. He needs to be played back into form/fitness. Right now it's fine but when Greenwood returns it's time to show up or sit the bench. I still think there's a solid chance that Rashford is the worst of those 3.
Greenwood has. Rashford has a better conversion rate with the lesser attempts. The most important for me really is in the build up. Greenwood is miles ahead of Rashford. Look at the passing success rate, the take on success and the goals. https://www.squawka.com/en/comparison-matrix/?compare=R2ZK2Pux_JdT0K8O_pWol Like @Anonymous_United said, let's see how coaching will improve each player and go from there. Rashford has been preferred due to his seniority and being a local (not that Greenwood isn't).
I find he's a very humble person both on and off the pitch, but still has much to learn and more to do before he becomes a more complete player. He's been lucky with some of the coaches he has had and the fact United are willing to invest so much into his development. At another club, he might not have prospered as much.
The Fight of Marcus Rashford’s Life | GQ Obviously hoping that Rash does not stop with his philanthropic activities, But at the same time, I really hope that 2022 will see him regain his form on the football pitch. Especially with him being as fit as he's been in the past couple years. Hoping also he'll be one of the players that RR will reprogram completely, to help him take the next step(s) in his development (which is due at this stage).

He didn't say anything wrong. Cleared up his position and what has been reported in the press in recent days (like Fred). He does indeed need to back that up on the pitch: that's fair. But have no issue with players coming out and making it clear they had nothing to do with some of the crap that's been reported lately. Taking it even further, I wonder where our esteemed skip right now: in moments like these, that's when you'd expect him to step up and say something...
He's currently the worst attacker on the team that's still getting minutes. Hes easily behind Sancho and Greenwood and should probably stay that way.
Think he has done the right thing - silence could be interpreted differently, especially after Fred started the ball rolling. He acknowledged his poor performances, said he needed to do his talking on the pitch and gave the staff his full support. That is pretty much all we need to hear any more is hot air. Given their performances and usual social media history am concerned not to have heard from Maguire as captain and Bruno given he is usually vocal. Sure is mostly meaningless but now Fred has started, then other players should show some togetherness ffs.
