I'm feeling pessimistic about this game.

Due to Covid concerns attendance capacity has been reduced to 15,000. Bellingham is doubtful and Akanji is unavailable, so we're very vulnerable at CB, plus Felix Zwayer is the designated ref.

On the other hand, Bayern have lots of key players missing, so this is as good as gets for us, and Rose must prove that he can win big games, at which he has failed so far. I also posted previously that Bundesliga clubs should stop shitting themselves whenever they face Bayern and put up a fight, which applies to us.

The 2017 DFB-Pokal semifinal marks the last time we beat Bayern when it truly mattered, so let's wait no further and win this time around.

Gladbach draw (win in DFB Pokal) and Frankfurt won against them, Augsburg, Arminia and Freiburg put on a fight. It's not the fault of the rest of the Bundesliga that BVB isn't in first place currently. I think you have good chances this time, the whole club is rattled due to the Covid discussions, the Lewandowski drama and the escalating club/fans conflict. So go out and win but pls don't usw the rest of the league to condone your second place.

dont matter, without a motivating coach like we had in tuchel or klopp, the boys just gonna shit their pants as they always do. they go out on the pitch to not to win but to try, which obviously is a fast lane to losing

I want to see a midfield 3 of Dahoud, Can and Reus. Control the midfield in the absence of Kimmich and maybe even Goretzka. Let's not start with Jude. Attack Pavard on the left with Malen's speed (and maybe Rapha going forward.) Attack Hernandez with Haaland + Reus and Brand making runs in.

I'll be happy to see us play hard and with belief. Rose has managed to get that out of the players to some degree. Needs to do it to the max tomorrow. But we also need to play smart, creative football, and control the ball.

Bayern’s midfield of a half fit Goretzka and Tolisso doesn’t look too daunting.

Hopefully Haaland, Bellingham and Akanji haven’t been rushed back too much.

Midfield should be good enough to offer enough opposition but as usual, the danger that we cannot match and defend is from the wings. Sane has also found his form again this season. The only one Bayern are really missing is Kimmich.

    Good start, Brandt 1:0.
But remember some time back when we had an early 2:0 lead and still lost. But there were also 2 decent opportunities before that that Bayern gave us.

Yeah going in front is the normal thing in recent matches v Bayern. Staying in front is the issue.

Good closing down by Müller, but Hummels needs to see that coming.

I guess we are trying our best to beat ourselves again. Some things we do, like that pass from Can in our box, are not explainable but we got away with it this time.

Hummels almost with the next assist for Bayern. In such a game, we need him at his best.

It hasn’t been a terrible half, just a couple of terrible mistakes.

Haaland 2:2. Brandt had a very good game so far as well and made the game fast for this goal.

And now we lose Brandt. Wouldn't surprise me if he'll miss the next few games as well.

But what the hell was Hummels thinking, nightmare game for him. I don't even know what that was supposed to be.

Just too many mistakes but better than those 6:0 results. If everyone would have been in form, we could have easily gotten a result against this Bayern that allowed much.
None of our 3 midfielders were effective or helped our game in offense. The subs for Guerreiro, Brandt and Haaland resulted in such a significant drop of quality, it was basically over by then.
