We do all the time, which is what ASF already mentioned.
Just because we don’t respond to every complaint, or in some cases, peoples threats to leave doesn’t mean we aren’t doing our best to moderate.

  2. OMG.
You now sound like a Dutch poster on the Dutch forum who stated my posts, he considered apologetic towards moslem intolerance (I was actually attacking his tarnishing a complete part of the population with the acts and stupid believes of a part of them) and that I was responsible for Iranian bigots being bolstered because of what I posted (in the Dutch thread ..as I only posted there our disagreements).
I know I'm a clever clog, but I really donot think my posts go beyond those who read them in Bigsoccer.
Unless your lot spread them outside BS:cautious:
Thankfully that bloke left after the moderator didnot take a complaint about me the way he wanted.

So like that idiot you think posts in here have impact in the outside world?
    Really?
    Actually can kill people?
    Really?

    Have any stats on that?

  3. Nah, the black death only managed to kill 50% of the population.
And by the look of it probably the idiots and fascists are the vast majority of the ones taking the bullit.

I don't disagree with this in concept. And I actually practice this. But at some point when the offender continues to post the same argument without evidence there needs to be a line drawn and action taken.

It's fine to make arguments, but fact are facts. Just look at the discussion surrounding the start of the Delta variant. And now look at the discussion surrounding the start of the Omicron variant. There was lots of speculation as to how bad it will be, but it was all based on what was said in the medical community and the genesis of the discussion was based on primary or secondary source material. And there was plenty of restraint stated from a number of posters on not going to far into speculation or worry. Based on primary or secondary source material.

The current poster is question has NEVER posted any source material other than list of football players who have died. By contrast, a number of posters have posted information to correct his assumptions, to which he seems to have ignored based on his continued posting history. Now this is the internet, and we are a community who posters reside in at least 6 countries on two continents, and absolutely have connections well beyond that. This is a global safety question, and it highly confuses me why there is an effort to bend over backwards and allow this conspiracy to continue to be posted.

  5. Bigsoccer isnot Fecesbook.
Nobody uses retweets of posts on BS to spread desinformation.

In the meantime please do try to bring more to the table evidence wise regarding claims of “ surges” and, and connections to Covid/Vaxxing.

people are free to believe or disbelieve what a poster claims, especially since nobody here is claiming to be a medical expert.

The onus is initially on you to back up such claims ( not the person disagreeing with you) and when dealing with a crisis issue, it does bear repeating.

    It cuts both ways.

Nor should you drop it, if the topic interests you. However I would suggest that posting about it in the covid thread when you yourself have acknowledged that there likely isn't a link between the two subjects, seems to be out of place. Maybe start a different thread? This is a soccer forum afterall, folks will likely participate in a thread regarding players collapsing inside or outside the pitch.

You still have not indicated it is a surge. You have stated that your data point is 2020. You have been multiple sources to indicate that this is not the monster you seem to want it to be. Your posting of this is going to kill people. Are you willing to take that responsibility?

  9. Okay.
The Illuminati interfered when I posted nobody reads our posts and logged me out:eek:
Or was it a BS glitch?
    Just asking.:cautious:

We all should get rid of Shitbook. Deleted my account 5 years ago. First week was a bit strange, then it felt just good. This shit enslaves people and they don't even take notice.

Visual does not make it a surge. And without CoD or PMH, it's pointless speculation.

When one has a larger family spread over a large area, FB is a good place to keep up with everybody. I also keep up with many of those in I knew in HS or college. But I don't check constantly...depending on events, maybe 2 or 3 times a week as a mean. Of course, I also have a restricted account so don't go down the rabbit hole on FB either.

  13. In my lifetime I had several people in my environment (family, work, friends, people I know) who just dropped dead without warning from a heart attack, ranging from 20 to 60), while these were healthy as a fiddle until the fatal moment.
So there are countless people walking around blisfully ignorant of what's looming for them.
We also know that these vaccins have a very, very small chance of causing heart inflammation (a couple of dozens on tens of millions vaccinations).
So it might as well that the vaccin just pulled the trigger of an already cocked gun to the head of those people.

  14. Indeed.
Of those currently shipped to hospitals in the Netherlands with covid, those who arenot vaccinated are 20 years younger than those vaccinated.

And to be more specific, it was pointed out (and acknowledged by him) that several of the players weren't even vaccinated. Yet that poster continues to wonder if the vaccines had anything to do with it.
If they weren't vaccinated, then it is impossible for the vaccines to be the cause. Yet he continues with the same line of conspiracy thinking despite the evidence showing him he is wrong.

I can't believe that I'm the one saying this but can we get this thread back on-topic?

@Brilliant Dutch throwing an unsubstantiated theory out there and then adding "just asking questions" is troll-like behavior, so please stop.

Isn't it time for this thread to be closed and another one started? We are well over 10,000 posts after all. In the past that always seemed to be the transition point.

I mean, it does seem like this would be a good time for it.

I agree with that, to a point. These things need to be discussed, because often they take something that has some true, and turn it into a conspiracy.

There is a huge leap between acknowledging that the richest people have too much influence and bringing up the illuminati.

Likewise, there is a huge leap between acknowledging the risk that the vaccine may cause serious allergic reactions in some people (as happened to my sister), and talking about changes in DNA. And there is a huge leap between acknowledging that the government has been involved in questionable experiments that have led some people, particularly minorities, to mistrust them, and bringing up a world wide conspiracy to get rid of millions of people worldwide. or a conspiracy to get rid of us.

We need to separate the true from the false. Can we discuss it here? Let me start by saying that I do acknowledge that as mods we sometimes make a mistake or take a bit too long to act. But there is a huge leap between that, and some posters whining and complaining every time somebody posts something that they don't like, calling us bad people, and even having a poster say that we are either stupid or we want to see millions of people die. That's a false dichotomy, and it sounds like a conspiracy theory as well.

I prefer to err on the side of giving people a chance to give their opinions and give others the chance to respond to it. But as I said, there is a limit to that.

I stand by this 100%. Would you like me to name, specifically, which of you I think fit in each category?
