Italy vs Portugal is going to be one big must-see play off Doubt Scotland / Wales make it to play each other, but that would be kinda fun too!
Italy v Portugal is so hard to call at this time also, with both teams not at their best lately (but could easily change on a dime by next March). Being Ronaldo's last chance at a WC, stands to reason that he'll give everything he's got to insure Portugal make it. Conversely, if they were to fail (especially because of poor/timid tactics), it could signal the end for Santos imo. Time for some new blood to lead that team: there is way too much potential there. Italy missing on 2 consecutive WCs would be bad also for Mancini. As high stakes matchup as you'll get (provided they don't fall in their opening match first).
It almost feels like a World cup final itself. I am kinda annoyed at the fact they got drawn up together.
These two conned millions of innocent children into supporting Arsenal in the early 2000’s. Their lives have been just complete sadness since they left 😭 pic.twitter.com/DgpBWjGlhk— Footy Humour (@FootyHumour) November 26, 2021

VERY interesting, yet I have a feeling that board will do what it wants to do despite the passing of the vague motion about human rights.
the fans actually have power in Germany inlike England. they may even have controlling stake iirc. don't think it is that straightforward for the board to push ahead anyway
I thought Bayern was an exception since it's corporate entity had owned for more than 20 years or something like that?
Don't think it's anywhere near over tbh. A lot of people couldn't attend that meeting because of Covid restrictions, which really helped the board in this instance. If nothing else though, pretty safe to assume that this will not just go away or be swept under the rug. The fans, as a collective, clearly want none of this and they can do something about it, if they don't let up.
As if there wasn't enough to be concerned about when it comes to Pool, it looks like Thiago is finally hitting his stride with them. Everything is just looking very easy and smooth for them at the moment: let's see if it lasts though...
There was a review recently completed that argued owners need to have some of their powers curtailed. https://www.ft.com/content/a57ffe23-d3e6-4a7e-9237-24659a66a374 In other news, Juventus had their offices raided. Spurs' Paratici seems to be at the center of what they are investigating.
If it's the same Turkey that showed up in the Euros with a leaking defense they will get battered on the counter. They will have possession.
Neymar looks to be set for his annual stint on the sidelines after suffering from what looks like a pretty serious ankle injury today. Looked very bad when it happened, had to be stretchered off.
That's actually good for the team and Pooch. There's not enough balls to go around to feed him, Messi, Mpappe.
Sorry but what is going on with the EPL schedule that the Christmas schedule cluster is happening at the start of December?

If you have Paramount+ you have access to the Brasileiro and Argentinean league, both are fun to watch on a Sunday afternoon. On that note, a 16 year old by the name of Angelo Borges started for Santos yesterday.
Rigged. How does Messi wins the Ballon D'or with all due respect to him? He was average with Argentina in the Copa. Atletico wins the La Liga.
Congrats to Messi on #7 but it really should have been Lewandowski's trophy. Messi finally winning a trophy with Argentina is what put him over the line no doubt. By his high/exceptional standards, he was pretty ordinary there. Oh well, nothing new unfortunately. Ronaldo finishing outside the top 5 for the first time in forever (11yrs): truthfully, he wasn't anywhere near the best of the best this past season. Good though, as an upset and motivated Ronaldo could, for one last time at least, be a scary one going forward.
