I'd say Jimmy, but I actually like him. I'm sure after his tenure I'd end up hating him like it happens with any other DT.
I'm not usually one of the "Fuera xx" types, but even I have had enough. Time to let him go. The team has been steadily getting worse.
No esta tan frio vuestro amigo azul, esta en la region correcta nada mas que elegio a la persona equivocada.
Same. I still don’t think he will be fired, but I’m 99.9% towards saying he absolutely should be. i think one of the main issues is that there are no obvious replacements unless they want to get away from the type of manager they have targeted with the last two hires. Credit where credit is due, I think it’s been a good thing to hire two similar “Bielsa-like” coaches instead of going after guys with completely different ideologies. I just don’t see another guy like that out there at the moment.
Agreed, but I think a change of style might be good in this case. Just something fresh and different to get the players in a different mindset.
Ah, entonces en ese caso si esta igual de frio que el clima de Canada. Give the people what they want! Piojo or bust!
Hey guys. I can give my background as to why I am here but know I come in peace and serious football talk. I dont pay attention to Liga MX but I assumed the US is having a better generation of players or are there young players being frozen out? Why are Vela and Chicharito in exile? I love tata and believe he is a good coach but I don't know what has gone wrong in Mexico, it feels like he has lost the locker room or something. I was really hoping the US would have picked him over Berhalter.
Its a mix of things. The US has a better young generation. Mexico is plagued with foreigners and the young players dont get opportunities to play until theyre like 23 and have inflated price tags that don't let them go to Europe. We are in the middle of a generational shift and lot of players are on the wrong side of 30 and have lost their pace and stamina. Tata is not the kind to throw out 19 year olds and is playing old out of form players. Vela doesn't like football Arteaga and Chicharito have issues with Tata. I think Marcelo Flores is already good enough to join the main squad. Tata has a stale personality and its rubbing off on the players.
I sometimes wonder if Klinsman hadn't done Mexico a favor in 2014 to help qualify if that would have spurred the kind of internal root to branch analysis the FMF needed that would put you on better footing now. The more I think about it and look at Tata's teams the more you are right and he has not got a great history of breaking in young players. He may have to do something soon because Jamaica is next and they seem hungry and very capable of getting a win at home. He is gonna have to call up a few new people to shake up people who believe their job is safe. Plus he needs to bring the guys in exile back into the fold. This is no time for foolish pride unless they have publicly said he sucks.
If we struggled with their covid afftected team missing them prem league players at the Azteca. I see another long day I. Jamaica with a draw at best.
Though he probably should be, Tata won’t be canned. What’s going to suck is when he rolls out the exact same squad that got smoked by the US and the physical, fast Jamaican players burn Chaka and Gallardo all game.
It’s the same story every 4 years. Lol. We NEED to miss out on this WC for some real change hopefully. This WC is crap anyways IMO.
Yeah but he will have an idea of the young guys to bring in to get rid of the like Chuca. You add that and bring Vela back you got something.
