De ejemplo esta Marcelo Flores que estos días esta jugando el torneo sub20 con Mexico. Si no me equivoco, juega en la sub18 del Arsenal y está a una distancia de los demás.

You can only talk trash when you can back it up. Memo pulled a JJ Macías. Lol.

That’s what hurts most. Ochoa talked smacked and then got smacked down. Nothing worse than when trash talking works against you, now you just look dumb.

Taking Ls is part of life, better speak his mind than worry about what others think of him in the fallout. Only cowards and the insecure care that much what others think. What he said isn’t untrue, they envy our league, fan base, etc so much they want us to merge with them

Not exactly. They're just using us to make money and further their development.

I new we were in trouble when el Cata Dominguez and Chaka were starting this game.. Tata is paid the big bucks for these types of games, against good competition. With Moreno, Montes and Araujo out, he needed to think outside the box. I think he should have started Edson Alvarez as a centre back. He would have given us a physical presence, height in the back and experience. Dominguez has never really been considered National team material.... he is 34 years old with limited height and speed... he is your typical solid Mexican League veteran, just like Chaka, who struggle in a faster paced international game against better athletes. Cata was straight up outmuscled by Pulisic, who is not a big target man...that was a preventable goal... any other center back wins that ball... that's why you dont play Dominguez there... if you wanted to play him, it would have been only as a right back.

Now with all that said, too many Mexican players are not in form... they are not playing their best like Lozano, Corona, Lainez, Herrera and a few others. The suits have totally ruined the final stage of player development in Mexico... young players are blocked by third rate foreigners and we make it impossible for our young players to leave, with a few exceptions. You want change... stop watching liga MX games, stop going to the National team games, stop supporting these clowns who are in charge.

Meh. There is a difference between speaking your mind and taking jabs. I am almost sure Memo doesn’t care at all what others think of him. Thus, to each his own.

Completely agree my friend. The only problem with that is, Mexicans dont have logic. We will continue to go to the games, specially here in the U.S. have the chelas ready, and act as if we are actually good at this little sport. Year after year, time after time, we are a very weak and pathetic country, that is very mediocre in everything for the most part.

Memo spoke nothing but truths though, not like he personally attacked players. It's the truth, nads have been obsessed with this rivarly and want so bad that their league and NT be better than Mexico. While their goal is to surpass Mexico, Mexico's goal is to join the elites and finally get to that 5th game.

Having regional bragging rights is fine and all but I would happily trade and take all these L's to the nads in exchange for finally seeing Mexico in a WC quaterfinal again next year

To be fair, Mexico was by far the better team of the day in the Nations League final - head and shoulders above the USMNT. They lost due to poor defending on set pieces and bad luck. Berhalter practically put the game on a platter for Tata by playing a couple of subpar defenders, Acosta (Adams was coming back from injury), and putting other players in questionable positions which practically doomed them to near uselessness. There was zero creativity from that US midfield for 120 minutes and Berhalter did absolutely squat to remedy that problem.

I also didn't see the point of Tata playing a lot of the first team members in the Gold Cup. They had Nations League, the Gold Cup, and now they have to play these congested WCQs. That's a bit much methinks.

He will, cause if they lose again against the nada, forget about. Next time they face them they have to beat them no matter how.

to me memo just talked out his a$$. $hit talkers are also masking insecurities. Confident men just do it. They don’t say much.

PS. I work with a lot of Nad fans so this morning has been brutal. Thanks Tata.

I calmed down and rewatched parts of this match. It was a both a mentally and physically a tough match. However, Memo on that first goal bears a lot of the responsibility. Ni siquiera salió. Look at where Weah is and the trajectory of the ball.

Charly on the second goal where the ball bounces off of him into McKennie’s path, Charly ni lo presiona para que no remate. He just looks at him.

That goal that Tecate let go. Similar play with close to the same amount of space

Agreed Memo es menso...I’ve been saying this forever. Always stays glued to his line. That was a ball any elite GK should have punched out but he’s always been to timid to get those type of balls. He relies too much on being a shot stopper.

In the future, Gudino looks like he will be in competion for the starter position. And while not being as great of a shot stopper.
He's good at attacking balls in the air in play and on set pieces. Which is our weakness.
