In true DC fashion all of those things will happen but we still won't get it done.

Or could we finally get over that hump and change things around?

If United somehow gets in, it looks like they'll be traveling to Nashville first round. That's a one and done if I've ever seen one.
Maybe Philly can get full points in NYC and we'd go there. Rather take our chances in Philly.

And, the Chester Stadium is a fun away trip. One Word: Cheesteaks! And, we can beat those guys if the fates allow.

And, sadly, I think that their stadium has a more interesting architectural design than ours does.

probably, but really, who watches a game/concert in a stadium because of the architecture of the venue and not the actual performance?

I think for most venues it's "in spite of" rather than "because of."

Wolftrap is better than Whatever Pavillion in PW County. Most stadiums are universally terrible for music.

not many venues are better than WT for a show.... but RFK was not terrible, I have fond memories of carnal relations at RFK during a Rolling Stones and a McCartney show....i think the music was good, well, except for Linda M's tambourine work.

I went to a few HFSTivals at RFK but for those there were outdoor stages as well.

Was at the Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead concert 1973 at RFK. I was in 9th grade and went with my cousin who'd come up from Baton Rouge. I was in an intensely altered state for the entire day. Some how we ended up backstage. I can't tell you how.....

Mexico proving once again they're massively overrated.

Somehow getting backstage and not getting thrown out it a major lifetime/rock concert accomplishment.

I have no memory from a point where I was watching a giant black balloon bouncing across the people in the infield and sitting crossed legged watching the two bands jam together, and passing on doobies to the crew.

This was my response too. The only thing better than US beating Mexico is to hit the magical scoreline, Dos A Cero!

It's almost universally true, be underrated. Let the loud mouths think how bad ass they are. Wait until the right time, and let reality arrive with speed.

I don't think the US is underrated. They are ranked 13th in FIFA, and looking at the teams ahead of them, it looks right.
Except the lone overrated team, Mexico, ranked number 9. They aren't a top 20 team right now. Overrated!

    Maybe they're over-rated.
Still, if I hadn't had to yell "Thank You For Sucking" so many times at Mexican players who missed easy passes in the final 3rd or shots on goal, we could have easily been beaten by 3.

Mexico seemed a little frustrated at the end there....

Shame they scored. I was all ready for Dos Dos a Cero
