I assumed we were on the same page but wanted to be sure. The thing that gets me is the self delusion that they will treat you different. Like does Elder or Carson don't think Steven Miller/Banner call him N word when he is not around. It is baffling to me.
He became hard-core racist long before that was an issue, so there's no point. And arguing logic with a white supremacist is useless. They feel aggrieved, and pointing out the fallacy in one of their reasons won't change the fact that they feel aggrieved, and will just come up with some other reason. Or no reason. And they will circle back to that first reason eventually. And the thing you have to understand about these people is that being jobless gives you lots of time to watch endless YouTube videos about racist esoterica like 12th century human migrations. You can't be a conventionally educated person and think you can debate them, even if they are morons. You'll end up looking like you don't know what you are talking about. You have to prepare. You have to know what they think they know and then know the proper contexts to show how they are wrong. That's a lot of effort. And you still won't win because first paragraph. I have better things to do. Because of my work the only family gathering holiday I get off is Christmas, and on that day I make sure I only do small talk with him.
Critical Race Theory is NOT an issue. It is a right wing fever dream. aka - you cannot reason with the irrational.
I see lots of stories where an employer will say something like “we raised our rates from $16/hr to $18/hr and we still can’t hire enough workers!” I always think, “yeah no kidding. Raise that rate to $25-$30 and you’ll be fine.” Everyone I know who thinks $15/hr is livable is making a hell of a lot more than that.
My husband is a rather avid, and thankfully skilled, poker player, and the casino that ran his particular game still hasn't re-opened their poker room yet. Why? They can't find enough dealers. Why can't they find enough dealers? They want all poker dealers to come back part-time with no health insurance. Hurr-durr, why can't we find any dealers to come work for us? We're so confused...

New legal doctrine in the Rittenhouse trial. If you just start shooting people you may be guilty of the first homicide. But since people freak out that you just shot someone you may feel threatened. So the subsequent homicides are thrown in as freebies or like a volume discount.— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) November 9, 2021

The normalizing, even celebrating, of political violence in parts of the GOP coalition continues, with virtual silence from almost all party leaders and conservative commentators https://t.co/wm6uR72VHo— Ronald Brownstein (@RonBrownstein) November 8, 2021
What a pompous jackass, self-infatuated clown. Matthew McConaughey, who continues to hint at running for Texas Governor, told the New York Times that “he believes that politics can be art — and he happens to be an artist.”

I posted something along those lines a few weeks back. Some entitled prick was arguing about how difficult was to live on $20k per month, and in an almost consecutive tweet he was disgusted because he couldn't find workers to unload a truck for $14/hr. On a related note, even at $30/Hr, there's actual scarcity, and it takes a while for people to train on some "low skilled jobs", so the shortage is here to stay for the foreseeable future. Also, I'm surprised that the invisible hand of the market or the super smart venture capitalists have not come with a solution to the worker shortage yet, my libertarian friends assured me that that would happen if workers ever asked for more money.
This is an important point--conspiracy theorists almost always have more facts & information on hand than you do, because they obsessively dig into anything related.
If Rittenhouse gets found guilty of the first shooting, he will probably be found guilty of all 3. The problem is that he is very likely to be found not guilty (hung jury perhaps) in all 3, if that is the case then the tweet makes no sense. If he is found guilty of the first but not the other 2 then the tweet makes sense.
