Unfortunately, international viewers don't see it that way. Competitiveness is what draws crowds. I am an international viewer and I am fully aware that Bayern's stranglehold on the league makes it harder for me to find available avenues for me to enjoy the Bundesliga.
So if BVB handle every German team but Bayern 3-0 it is a more competitive league? How is BVB losing points not a sign of a competitive league?
Agree with @Dage Buli is highly competitive except for Bayern. Fans over here don't tend to worry over bayern so much
When you look at Bayern they just know how to do things right. Lewandowski joins on a free transfer in what is probably the steal of the century. Kimmich is signed for around 8.5 million. Goretzka was another free player. Gnabry was basically orchestrated to join them all along, and only costed them 8 mil while Werder Bremen was a planned stepping stone. Even though they don't really use him, they fleece Alexander Nuebel from Schalke anyways as a free player. Davies who's now among the top 3 LB's in the world only cost 10 mil, another bargain. Musiala from my understanding was another free player. Sane who did cost 60 mil has become a beast for them after finding his stride again. And Nagelsmann joins them right after Flick leaves. All this while Dortmund makes dud signings spending tons of money in recent years like Goetze's return, Schuerrle, Philipp, Schulz, Emre Can, Delaney, Malen, etc. The inability to compete for the league title is a 2 way street. Dortmund have a lot to blame on themselves.
I know international TV is supposedly the holy grail that will deliver more revenue and balance up the BL1 more, but I actually do not see why local fans should care about this, or why it should be such a priority for clubs. I am also really sceptical there is much of a market for it.
lol 🗞 Coaches have tried Sancho as a right wing-back in sessions in recent weeks and, with Wan-Bissaka’s attacking ability in question, Solskjær may yet turn to the tactic against teams expected to sit in should he continue to use the 3-4-1-2 system. funny how 2 USA CFs propped up by our troll poster are now doing nothing. Yes he props them up to shit on German players. How foreign CF better than German, blablabla. Is that why Germany has more CF options this season than past 10+ years, LMAO. And this convo happened in this thread too. -Sargent is a BIG reason for Bremen relegation now flopping in a dumb Norwich transfer. No 1BL club wanted to pay double digits for a CF viewed for bench but EPL clubs have money to burn. -Hoppe (flop in U19-II for Schalke, was a Schalke II bench player) ditched Schalke who got relegated from 1BL to go to La Liga.....lol another dumb transfer. Now rarely plays, doesn't always make squad. His 1 assist was basically pass to guy who dribbles past bunch and scores solo goal. Now talk about potential Winter loan......LOL any loan likely La Liga 2 or lower 1st.....could just have dev at Schalke in 2BL instead. https://www.marca.com/en/football/spanish-football/liga/2021/11/10/618be53522601d400b8b45ad.html for other CF/attackers -Quaison, flopping in Saudi Arabia, LOL -Silva for amount Leipzig payed not showing anything yet. Most think was perfectly suited for Frankfurt system. -Weghorst overtaken by Nmecha at Wolfsburg. LOL, Troll poster called me racist once on this thread for saying that Weghorst is just a poaching CF who is big and physical. recently on twitter he was saying that Weghorst is limited CF and Wolfsburg should focus on Nmecha. -Kalajdzic, always injured -Alario is bang average overtaken by Schick, lol that he's Argentina NT player -Malen has to be FLOP of season in 1BL -Piatek for amount Hertha payed not performing -Pohjanpalo, underperforming in Turkey -Cunha and Sorloth haven't taken anything by storm in Spain -Jovic, a flop list of 1BL players having 1-couple of good seasons is a thing and also flopping when leaving 1BL too. Shows why sometimes as a player better to stick to a league which you show something than transferring, But since most use 1BL and have no real interest to stick long term, eh can only blame themselves.
CFs who have done very well in 1BL Lewa, Haaland, Kramaric, Haller, Finnbogason (but always injuries), Auba, Modeste, Schick, Alcacer (meh in Spain, lol), Poulsen (underrated and better than all post Werner CF tried by Leipzig), Ibisevic, Hernandez, Pizarro, Raffael, Olic, Mandzukic, Huntelaar, Raul, etc I'm sure I'm forgetting some Awoniyi might be doing well this season but was terrible at Mainz, wait and see.
So according to this podcast: "Bayern Munich are out of the race for Karim Adeyemi. Bayern are keeping tabs on Fiorentina striker Dušan Vlahović. There was loose contact last summer through an intermediary. Vlahović is considered a potential long term successor for Robert Lewandowski, should Haaland be impossible to get." https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/qsmqst/bayern_munich_are_out_of_the_race_for_karim/
Is @Epitome990 trolling us with that avatar change? He doesn't come post, but changes to a canada avatar which is now all over my thread notifications
Adeyemi is probably looking at Musiala’s lack of playing time this season. He needs to go somewhere where he can play regularly. More chance of that at Dortmund with Haaland likely to leave and Malen flopping.
lol Marc Roca wants to return to Spain in January. Bayern will not get back the approximately €10m they paid for him last year, but would be willing to sell for €5-6m. However a loan deal is more likely [@SkySportNewsHD] pic.twitter.com/dRg40lxMVQ— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 15, 2021 In addition to Roca, Bayern want to offload Mickaël Cuisance in January. However, that could be complicated as the player wants to move to a good club and doesn't want to take a pay cut. Therefore no potential destination is in sight at the moment [@SkySportNewsHD]— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 15, 2021
Bayern are awaiting the PCR test result of the person Joshua Kimmich has had contact with. If the result is positive, Kimmich might have to go into another 7-day quarantine [@Sky_Torben]— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) November 18, 2021 You know there is a vaccine that could help stop this shit from happening….
And on that note, it's confirmed. Kimmich will be quarantined for 7 more days https://www.ligainsider.de/mobile/j...mich-muss-schon-wieder-in-quarantaene-312017/
With the high infection rates unvaccinated players are gonna be constantly coming into contact infected people, so this quarantine cycle will continue endlessly.
Sabitzer and Richards both looking like poor Bayern transfers continuing trend following Cuisance, Roca, Sarr, Tolisso. Richards was expected though. Upa and Hernandez both overrated. funny how mediocre Moting does well, lol.
L for Bayern and now Dortmund can close gap. Massive W for struggling Augsburg. 2/2 Ls for Bayern was vs struggling clubs,
When big teams play shortly after international matches, they often lose points. Bayern's loss wasn't that surprising. If the match had been on Sunday, Augsburg would have probably lost. When Sabitzer scores the occasional banger, I see people on reddit wax lyrical about him. To be honest, I've never been particularly impressed with him. He is a solid hard-working player( slightly above average) but he is never going to be elite. He doesn't seem particularly fast and he is not a great passer which is important for a midfielder.
I only watched the second half. Dorsch wasn't good and wasn't bad. It is hard to rate his second-half performance. Bayern was very sloppy in possession while Augsburg sat deep and didn't really get out of their own half. I thought Maier was poor in 1v1 situations defensively on several occasions and he had one chance to shine on the counter attack with space but he lost the ball to an 18 year old(Musiala). He will be 23 in January. He needs to show his qualities and not lose the ball to an 18 year old in an important situation. His career trajectory is not looking great. He is almost 23, failed at Hertha(not the best managed club of course so there are mitigating circumstances) and plays for a team battling relegation. Dorsch is almost 24. It's not looking very promising for him either. Our top players in the senior national team were already at much bigger clubs by that age. There are some exceptions like Kante and Mahrez who have become stars later in their careers but overall it is rare to see players make the breakthrough in their mid 20s. What do you expect from them? The best-case scenario is that they might become starters for a club that usually finishes between 4th and 8th in the BuLi but even that looks unlikely. I will be happy to be proven wrong of course.
so much exagerration and so much obsession with age too. And ignores too many things such as Maier missing preseason and not always fit. Maier had years of injury issues. And this is Dorsch's 1st EVER 1BL season, joined a club to be XI all season, instead of fixating on age blame Bayern being shit club for youth and robbing them years and years to play low level. Based on everyone both currently upwards trending. You don't judge based on 1 half of match and a half Bayern doing better too. also there is no age to make NT. 23-24 is still on young side. Nor do you need to play top clubs to perform in NT.
Plastic Leipzig and Stuttgart headed for more Ls. Wonder when American coaches getting fired? Stuttgart at risk of relegation too.
