The Crew may be all but out of the Audi™️ MLS Playoffs but my Defiance College Yellow Jackets won 1-0 tonight at #1 Rose Hulman to head to their first HCAC title game since 2003. So, not an entirely bad night!
Right, but I don't want to assume that people want the non-sports services. But at that cost it's almost stupid not to do it. Especially since you can watch ESPN+ through Hulu and get around MLS blackouts.
Congrats! Wow I just checked my alma-mater (Manchester) and they had a rough year. I ran Cross Country there and at least they had a better year.
everyone saying we "only" need to make up seven goals is neglecting the possibility that ny loses like 13-7 and catches us on goals scored. what is the next tiebreaker. how many yellow cards do we need.
I would add that I just changed my Verizon plan to have ESPN+, Hulu and Disney as part of my package. Between not paying for those services and actually paying less for my Verizon plan I ended up saving like $30 bucks a month or so
Hearing reports that Chicago told 7 players they weren't picking up their options for 2022 and that those players are not going to play this weekend. I have no idea who those players are, but it certainly can't be helpful to the Fire to have that many bodies out. [insert Dumb & Dumber meme here]
The fire are like that brother in-law that brings a new girl around every time there is a family gathering and everyone thinks she can't be worse than the last one or eventually his luck will turn.....it never does
Twellman later tweeted that all but cavo will be out there. Rather have unenthusiastic players playing than youngsters.
Now they're saying that they'll be playing the kids. The players they're dropping will be along on the trip but may not see the field.
You can't make this stuff up. As stupid as the promotion/relegation arguments re: MLS are, when you look at a club like the Fire or Cincinnati, man, you really wish there was some other league they could kick a ball around next season.
So, I used a parlay calculator to just figure out the 4 games we need to have a result in, taking only the winner (not draw possibilities) and nothing about the goal differential. So, Crew win, Toronto win, Orlando win, and Nashville win. A $100 bet pays out $2855.96! I like those odds!
I can recall us pounding the Fire real good at CCS one year to close the curtain on a season. I believe we were already eliminated from PO contention, but we pounded them good. Like 5-2? Aside from the title winning/USOC winning years, it put the biggest off-season smile on my face of any year I can recall.
All I’m gonna say is, when I was a wee lad back in 2003, The Crew whooped up on The Fire 6-2 to close out the season. I was in the house and it was fantastic. If I remember correctly, we even went down 2-0 and came back. Soooo we can tap into that energy and do work🙏🏾. #Crew96— Ty Phillips (@chaiteaaddict) November 4, 2021
