Love that Ochoa got lit up by Cowell (and Yueill for that matter). Good conditioning for what's to come on the national team level.

Cowell has been productive for an 17 year old this season. 5G, 5A in 1604 minutes. He’s lacking consistency, but he’s shown he can be a successful MLS player at a young age. Next season hopefully he can show consistency and a sale might then make sense at the beginning of 2023.
What is RSL going to do with Ochoa and Dewsnup? It wouldn't be the end of the world for Dewsnup to repeat the USL Champ but sending him back to the reserves while Ochoa bottles it seems less than ideal. Maybe they can trade Ochoa but who's going to pay for him? He's been a hot mess since he chose Mexico.
His direct involvement in 10 goals is very impressive for an American player. He has less minutes then most of these guys: Pepi 13g 3a Ferreira 8g 8a Dike 8g 3a Arriola 6g 3a Zardes 9g 0a Caden Clark 4g 4a Basset 4g 3a Lletget 2g 4a
Problem is Monarchs, along with basically all MLS affiliated teams will be leaving the USL in 2022 for the new 3rd division MLS league. Have to wait and see if that league develops into much more than a glorified U17/19 extension of MLS academies, or will any decent competition emerge?? !
Busio style central midfielder. He has some good potential. Hopefully he gets more minutes next season. One of our own.Congrats on your debut, @_Juancastilla 🤘 https://t.co/CcRv8JzcJz— Houston Dynamo FC (@HoustonDynamo) October 31, 2021

If you mean it had too much pace on it, it looks like it was meant for Przybylko behind Aaronson which looks like it would have sent him through on goal too.
Thats a good point. Aaronson had to do a lot with the pass though to get himself into a position to score. That could’ve been because it wasn’t meant for him.
Here’s some nice passing from Mcglynn He keeps fibbin'. https://t.co/aypsjwTH15 pic.twitter.com/PQgkCNP0mq— Matthew Doyle (@MattDoyle76) November 1, 2021
McGlynn will be really good. It’s going to take some time though for him to improve due to the way he plays.
The trio of Aaronson, Sullivan, and McGlynn along with Gazdag is going to be fun to watch next year. The fluidity that those guys (minus Sullivan, who didn't come on until stoppage time) showed last night was nice. Despite the common wisdom being that the Union would struggle a little this year, they are near the top of the standings. It helps that they are in the weaker East, but it's still been an impressive year for them.
It’s the physicality and athleticism of MLS that he needs to adjust to. Right now, he’s operating at a huge deficit. He’s slow, weak, awkward athlete. Give him a few years to physically mature and be in a weight room with pros, on the training ground with pros, and playing every week against the highest caliber physicality/athleticism in this country’s domestic pyramid, and he’ll adjust completely to it. Once he does, he’ll soccer IQ his way to Europe. Those tweets show some of it. This video shows what it looked like in USL last season. He was the best of the thread-eligible players in USL last season pretty clearly IMO. Those other guys suffered from playing with a rotating cast of teenagers against pros. McGlynn (along with Freese and Ofeimu) were the main ones who didn’t. I’m not saying he’ll be the best of them eventually (Sullivan/Craig, then McGlynn, then Sorensen/Aaronson IMO), but I think he has the toughest adjustment of all of them to MLS.
Basically it went as expected. We knew they still had some good veteran talent even after losing Aaronson and McKenzie. We thought they'd take a step back, and they have. The were the supporter's shield winners last season. This year they're 20 points back of the supporter's shield. That's quite a gap. 5th place in SS standings. There's a lot to be excited about with this group if they can hold onto them................................... I haven't seen any Euro rumors about any of these Philly kids yet from the usual hyperventilating social media sources. That'll come soon I'm sure. That's the challenge with building with the kids if the kids are really good. Can you maintain momentum while also selling?
7/12 are American. Seems like a good percentage. I suspect the percentage is lower for most countries.
