Removing her Lloyd jersey to reveal that Hollins jersey was cool.
    I want her golden cleats.

Rapinoe has been very positive offensively since coming in. She now has an assist.

The extra camera stream is especially boring now.

    Sauerbrunn for Davidson
    Heath for Sullivan
    Williams for Pugh

Morgan is too slow. She should retire next.

For as long as she plays Rapinoe, if she is allowed to stagger around the field some more for the US, should never take another free kick of any sort. She has lost her mojo.

Well, say what you want about her speed and her crosses diminishing... her finishing has not. Pinoe.

    The corner kicks were dangerous.

    Yep. She is good.
Rapinoe scores. It is a good thing she still has good touches. I wonder, with her good first touch, if she could play a traditional center forward. Center forwards do not need speed. They just need to have good touches and be mean.

I saw the first matches Carli played and now the last. I will say, she drove me absolutely crazy as a midfielder. And yet, she ended her career so much better and so technical and fun to watch. She truly improved every year.
One of the best to every play the game.

Vlatko inability to read the room (stadium) or the occasion and taking Carli out at 65' was a disappointing move. btw, It's soo odd to see him and his 4 bro's all sitting on the bench, after years of Women at the helm.
    Anyway.

Fox is fantastic, her speed and positioning are great. Really looking forward to seeing more of her.

Pugh and Smith are both dynamic and fast, fun to watch them 'wing' it together.
Pugh has made a nice rebound from her prior fitness and looks game on. Both need work on their touches, but I've seen improvement over the years. Could be a fun tandem going forward.

Huerta transition to right back??? who's seen this... deets?

Ready for Cook, Mace, Howell to get more looks.

Yeah but if it's off the goalkeeper is it really a deflection?

It’s a shame Vlatko couldn’t keep Lloyd in a little longer but what makes Carli legendary has been done over the course of her 17 years on the Nat’l team. In the end nobody will remember Carlis last game anyway except maybe her and her friends and family. Congrats Lloyd you deserve consideration as one of the GOATs this team ever had.
Good luck to Horan with the 10 jersey and her journey.

The young pups come off and the old dogs come on to show 'em how it's done.

It looks like SK has been run into the ground. Even Morgan is faster that the SK defense is now.

Actually I see this as the young pups wore out SK and the oldsters took advantage. In the earlier match the oldsters could not get SK tired so the 2nd half was much like the first even though there were younger legs.

In most farewell games around the world, the player usually plays to about the middle of the second half and then is subbed out so that fans can applause, more hoopla etc. This was pre-planned for that time.
