Interesting match. First half Venezia dropped Busio really deep and used that tactic to dominate possession. Over 60% possession and a 1-0 lead. They bring in Ampadu and slide Busio forward into a more attacking role. Ampadu picks up a red (not entirely his fault). Venezia goes down 2-1. A really bad result for them. The question that pops into my mind is whether leaving Busio as the 6 would have allowed them to continue dominating possession. It's a great defensive tactic if you pull it off. I think the GNats have to at least look at Busio as the 6 paired up with McKennie and Musah. We need to know if that is a real option for the occasions Adams is not available. Oh and Ribery is still a master. Drew 3 yellows and a red. Still has the change of pace to beat defenders off the dribble.
And yet no American has more in a top five league? Hell Shaq Moore doesn’t come anywhere close in the Spanish second division which might not quite make top five when ranking leagues… And how did your “Shaq Moore > Scally because Moore did well at the Gold Cup” stat work out for you, smart or dumb? Right, but Shaq Moore has a lot more experience as a professional than just what he's played this season. And of course experience with the USMNT, including big tournaments. As do Cannon and others. Its OK to think that Scally is clearly USMNT worthy, while also believing its not the right time to call him up. This is basically what Berhalter has said about the situation too. “But what about Tyler Adams hurr hurr checkmate! I am very intelligent.” Tyler Adams plays a lot of games in a top 5 league, actually… even some in Champions League which believe it or not is an even higher level (as opposed to a lower level) and should also be factored in obviously. 1453068515234258954 is not a valid tweet id
Frank Ribery is like a DP signing for that club. Bus had 9 recoveries to tie for 2nd behind the game high of 10. He continues to rapidly improve his game.
Did someone post this in response to your post? Your posts are the ones that tend to fall along the tone in quotes. The whole argument is regressive. Clearly all three players you were upsetty about are on Gregg's radar, but for various reasons (see my post you ingored) were not chosen in October. Why not respond to the rationale I laid out? "Look at the top 5 league minutes" is not a counterargument.
Horrible loss for Venezia that was a big 6 pointer. Theres no slicing that one positive, thats a terrible loss that drags them closer into it, and gets Salamander closer to safety. Miazga and Alaves got a polar opposite result and got a priceless three points against Elche today. They seem to be turning it around over there.

I think his lack of physical strength really limits his upside. Unless he gets to the point in his reading of the game that he’s always there first and doesn’t encounter too many shoulder-to-shoulder issues, he’s at his level currently. Miazga cannot read the game at all and isn’t truly dominant in the air- I’d still take McKenzie over him.
Yeah a lot of people on here are saying that Scally is a lock to get called in. It's nowhere near a lock for GGG. Its crazy but thats GGG.
What are you watching where McKenzie is overpowered? I've seem him casually doing the opposite a lot.
That tweet nicely illustrates why we're almost assuredly going to be a top 10 program in the next 5-10 years (with even higher upside in the mid- to long-term). And LOL at Mexico. No wonder they're trying so hard to poach our dual nationals.
We can all wager that Brazil’s little slump will soon be over. Besides Brazil, Portugal also look to be dangerous. What’s odd is how well Italy is doing... On paper, they’re not very good at all. Yet they’re performing like a traditional Italian team.
Mmm. The Eredivisie the last 5 years had transfersums paid 511 million €€, and transfersums received 1.28 billion, giving a net result of 770 million. It seems to be the highest net result of all leagues. So to be like the Eredivisie is going to be quite an endevour. https://www.transfermarkt.com/trans...nd_id=122&nat=&kontinent_id=&pos=&w_s=&plus=1
No kidding! By my count we have 11 players on teams in the group stage of UEFA Champions League this season.
