Something to mention if you get the feedback survey.

One of my nephews works at an Amazon warehouse. They pay a high hourly rate but shifts are 6 hours so he only gets 30 hours per week.

People making $11 per hour probably can't afford a thousand dollars a month for rent. They'd be better off renting a 2 bedroom and having a roommate to split with. But quite a few people do pay 50% or more of their income in rent and utilities.

I talked to the Crew vice president of tickets & sales and he says he will get with the box office and fix my credits. So now I am just waiting on it to happen.

It was a while ago, but I saw one Amazon shift schedule that started at something ridiculous like 11:30pm or midnight. I believe it was a 12-hr shift too. Of course, it was only 2-3 days per week, but it still looked awful.

The issue with the 2-br is that it's going to naturally be a bigger place. Bigger places = higher rents. At that point, how close back to square one is the person?

The 12-hr shift is ridculous, but graveyard shift is common in blue collar work

    3PM-11PM
    11PM-7AM

I renewed our season tickets yesterday. Quick and easy, just sent an email to my rep saying "sign me up for '22." I won't mention the fact that I didn't get anything, other than an automated receipt, in reply. I guess a thank you or any other acknowledgement would be too much to ask after dropping nearly a grand. But hey, I renewed!

Y'all are stuck with me for another year.

    So, this new avatar…
Why do you have a carabiner on your cap, and why are you wearing a FCKY jersey?

I would have bought that shirt if I'd had the chance. Saw it at the game they played wearing it, but wanted to think about it--and by that time it was gone.

I'll be honest, it's not going to get a lot of wear. It's not the most comfortable fabric and I do not like where the collar hits my neck. But I love all of the non-yellow jerseys (sorry y'all, I'm a pale guy and yellow doesn't look the best on me but I still cheer for the Yellow Soccer Team) and this will look good in the office - if that ever happens again - with some khakis and sneakers.

Wearability is important. I have a few Nike jerseys--and they are not comfortable.

I spoke with Shanee yesterday and told her I wouldn't be renewing for a full season but instead buying tickets for games I want to attend. That way it's easier to get the right number of seats together without having to sell other seats.

I'm a partial plan guy, but I also have consistent seat quantity needs.

The Crew fixed my credits and I renewed 5 of my 6 seats today. I had to drop a seat for my mother's passing. After 2022, I might drop down to 4 as my 14 year old doesn't really like to go, but I'm keeping it for 2022.

I talked with an FO gerbil at the game. Among other things he said that a) Brandon took a job in Denver but he didn't know what team and b) Marisa is now in charge of all premium seating sales.

As a fan with a partial plan I am not renewing
Why pay high prices only to leave messages with the reps that are never returned, to be billed twice for a plan and the team drag their feet on returning my money, for a team where the players admit they needed to play with more intensity? I’ll watch on tv and go to select games paying for tix on the secondary market. At least I’ll have the satisfaction of not being treated like dog poo

Just got done renewing with our rep at the stadium - moved our seats from 113 to 121 and down a row. We had the ADA seats partially obstructing our view.
Not many seats available to switch to.

I'm pretty sure they haven't released the non-renewals yet.

We relocated on-line to 204, row three (Mrs KG liked our seats in 208, but did not like being in the visiting fan section). One issue--TicketBa$tard makes you pay in full. Ugh. I have a call in about that.

Yeah, I realized that this morning. I just figured with the ticket base that we have there would be a FEW more options on the table.

..... I know they want us to spend the most money possible, but this is just getting silly. Let me give you money, stop making it so hard to let me to this.

For select a seat, I requested the 11:30 time slot. I figured, given my STM tenure, I had a good shot at that. Nope. Was given a 2:30p time slot.

The following is a transcript of my email conversation. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.

    Crewfan_in_Columbus:
Hello. Is there an earlier time available for us to review seat options?

I thought I had requested 11:30a as my preferred time and I would have figured that my season ticket tenure would’ve gotten me an earlier slot than the end of the day.

Please let me know if something can be arranged.

    Thank you,

    Crewfan in Columbus

    Krusty the Clown:
'Hi [Crewfan in Columbus]—That is a very early time frame. The only thing earlier are for those in the premium/club location.

Looking forward to seeing you this Sunday!

    Thanks in advance,

    Crewfan_in_Columbus:
[Krust], so it’s ok to come at my preferred time of 11:30?

Even though I requested 11:30, my email confirmation said 2:30. Just trying to play by the rules.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Crewfan in Columbus

    Krusty the Clown:
Oh sorry, I misunderstood. I’d get there around 1 if possible.

So me and my buddy show up around one. Figure out where we're supposed to go, as there really aren't any signs. When you walk into the west lobby, there are three different sets of lines, but no one is directing traffic, so you gotta ask what's going on. We wait in the right line for about 5 minutes, and finally get up to talk to one of the two dudes sitting there. Give him my name, and he says in a very annoyed tone, "Your're appointment is at 2:30." Expecting this, I show him the email and tell him, "Krusty the Clown told us to come at 1:00." and he looks me and just about rolls his eyes as if to say, "Of coouuuuurrrse he did."

Turns out, the window for renewing or not renewing your tickets didn't close until last night. So having the select a seat event before that window closed was absolutely useless. We talk for a little bit, tell him what we're looking for and where, and he give us a couple options. I explain that because my niece couldn't make it down from Findlay, I'm also selecting her seats. We temporarily add her new seats to my account and he makes a note for Krusty to give me a call. I have zero faith in that happening.

Mentions to us that he's sorry for all the confusion, the long lines, and the wait. That this is one of the most unorganized events he's ever been apart of. They had 14 ticket reps working the event. Looking at the lines though, it was apparent that wasn't enough to meet the demand of the event. Needless to say, as has been pointed out, the amount of change opportunity was very minimal. I do expect there to be a large drop off of people who didn't renew. And any new STM's will actually have a better chance of getting seats than anyone existing STM who wanted to relocate.

Now I'm just waiting to see how long it takes to have my actual seat location changed in my STM account and get my invoice corrected.
