    Game over
Now the table looks like this.....

    Barca-48
    RM-41
    Val-36

We are 7 points away from Barca and we still have around 18 games to catch up with them.
things are not looking as bad as i though it will be.

Sweet. RM looked sharp tonight. The mallorca goal was against the run of play. We needed these 3 points.

Game over. 3-1 Real. While a game we expected to win, Mallorca have made things tough for us the last few years, and we didn't put them away early like we need to -- the scoreline doesn't reflect that it was 1-1 up until the end. We'll take the 3 points though.

I would prefer to beat them with all players mentioned above playing.

Yeah, either a lack of class or a really bad joke..Either way though Real has been doing better as of late and I think it may just be a matter of time before we surpass Barca :D

alright alright ill delete it ... Barca better watch out in Bernabeu... that would be sweet if we were tied in points before the game, and that would decide first place. that would make a huge clasico

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who is optimistic going forward in this second half of the season.

The substitutions VanderLux made were brilliant. His tactical awareness is impressive. This is exactly what the team was in need of. What a genius move by Perez to have brought him in. ;)

He did better than I've seen him play recently. Lots of tricks but got round a lot of players. He won a lot of free kicks around the box and had a few shouts for penalties but went down a bit too easily I think.

I think he worked nicely playing wide because it often gave him a lot of space to work with. Beckham picked him out with a cross field pass quite a few times which game him time and space to run into and create something.

Overall it was a pretty good performance. The midfield looked really good in the first half - I thought Beckham was excellent. With all the substitutions they started to lose shape in the second half (and Beckham at right back was not an ideal choice!). Gravesen looked ok but sometimes seemed a little slow. Guti did well when he came in - he looked very sharp considering his illness and made some nice crisp passes.

beckham was awfull as usual , doesn't help even on the right. all the free kicks he took were horrendous. I'll say it once more he really hurts the team.I would have prefered guti alongside gravessen but for the reasons we all know, he has to play. seems like even luxemburgo can't bench him. it' a real shame to see solari, who scored a golazo, on the bench when a mediocre like beckham starts.

We must have watched a different game because in the first half he was extremely good. Put in some great crosses, worked well with Salgado overlapping, tracking back and drifted into the middle to make tackles and played some amazing long passes out to Roberto Carlos and Zidane.

Why was Beckham at right back lol. Glad to hear from you guys that he actually did well, game comes on at 10 here so i'll have to wait and see for myself.

He ended up right back because Luxembergo wanted a more attacking formation so they replaced Salgado (and left it at 3 defenders). When they got the goal they reverted to a more normal formation, but Beckham was the only guy that could go right back! Let's just say I hope he doesn't play there again ;)
