I think Greenwood switching to Jamaica is about as likely as me getting into bed with scarlet johanson. He doesn't want the disruption of international football right now so why would he contemplate travelling thousands of miles every international break to play for a team that will have little impact on world football. Second playing for England will give him far more benefits for his career than Jamaica.

Not that it looked likely he was going to play for us again but worth mentioning anyway.

Whilst I agree he'll never play for England I can't seen this happening, at least next month. He only played for France U21s last week, Morocco play in less than 3 weeks, international switches often take months, especially when a player wasn't born in that country.

The Scots are all over livramento playing for them. They're convinced his Scottish mum will convince him. I would despise him choosing them over us. He's 18 I can't see him wasting his career not playing at a tournament over England or Portugal. I'm pretty sure he's happy with England

They'll always be the same. They say our players are overrated until they find out a couple of them have Scottish connections and all of sudden, they're the best player in the world.
No chance he plays for them I think. If he was going to choose them, he'd have done it by now. He's got such a good chance of knocking on the England (and Portugal) door in the next couple of years, why would he choose to play for mediocrity?

We will probably get stick off other members for having this view. They're also talking about Harvey Barnes. I can't see neither of them being interested in Scotland

Can’t see either going anywhere for the foreseeable future and hope they don’t! Remember seeing Harvey Barnes’s posting that he was honoured and proud when he got called up for England last year. He’s not likely to switch anytime soon imo. He’s got the talent, just needs to get back in the Leicester side first and then see what happens.

I don't think Scots (in general) mind selecting English players that never played for like England like McTominay or Cooper. But they seem a lot more against pursuing players with youth caps as opposed to the rest of the home nations.

That's true. They want players who are wholey committed to Scotland as opposed to Wales who will take any old shite

Wales are also much more aggressive at capping English born players at youth level.

I think the fact that Scotland has a credible professional league structure, which none of the other Home Nations do, means they are a lot more proud (if that's the right word) and look within the own borders for player recruitment.

I can't think of to many English national team players with Scottish connections in recent years (I'm sure the must be fair few), but they never got brought to public attention.

We're only losing the ones that have no chance of playing for England.
Fair play to the lad. He will get a taste of international football for a decent international side.

    on 03 W Baah,
Despite playing for the England youth set up before, the youngster believes that the German style is more in tune with his own and has helped him develop different aspects of his game.

“I was born near Stuttgart, so that’s how I qualify to play for Germany,” he said.

“My dad used to play football out there semi-professionally, and my parents probably lived there for around 25 to 30 years.

“We moved to Ghana when I was still very young and then to England when I was five, but as I got older and started to realise playing for Germany might be a possibility I thought it sounded like a really exciting opportunity.

“I was in touch with staff members even when I was pretty low-key at Rochdale, but then Covid-19 hit so I wasn’t able to fly over and play for them. At that point I went and played for England, but when Germany came around again I just wanted to try the adventure.

wouldn't necessarly say that we have a lot of 03 AM/Ws too. For now do to him doing well in 4 Nations Tourney that opens door for more usage. We beat Portugal and Dutch in that.

and I'm ignoring Senior topic and at end of day, that's only one that matters and that's even harder. And even more future competition in attacking position due to no age groups.

I don't really care about age groups tbh. And wouldn't say no to another addition. Its also his choice to make.

we also have more and more attacking talents than ever following issues with 90s born.

and at end of day, Baah has to make pro progress for call ups in upper UXX so far has made no breakthrough anyways.
