Gonna require all my TV spectating skills to navigate Sox-Revs-C's-Bruins (4-channel DVR will be maxed out). :D

A clean sheet win, and a Seattle loss. Is that really asking too much?

And for those that are full out Boston sports fans, a Celtics win, Bruins win and oh yeah, them Sox too.

Lets hope Arena starts his best team from the beginning tonight. We need all 3 points. His best team should include Boateng

I haven't heard anyone say "must win" yet this year. This is as close as it gets.

The Revs are in the middle of a 4 games in 12 days stretch. There is inevitably going to be some squad rotation, probably more on the back end (Sun @ORL, next Wed vs COL). They then get 10 days off before the finale (vs MIA), so that one should be best XI tune-up for playoffs before another long break (minimum 17 days off). One game in 4 weeks is not the ideal playoff prep.

pure crap so far. Bou multiple strips... Farrell almost cost us one. Lets see if we wake up for the second half. I now like Kessler and TMac the most this game

Not a fan of the DC stadium. Wtf is that crap on the side line? Same with one of the end lines. Ground level box seats?picnic area? Terrible design. Looks like shit

Late drama, but savor this. Revs took over the game and put three in the net.

If Seattle drops points tonight in Colorado, then New England's playing for the Shield in their next game. Biggest trophy in club history is practically within their grasp.

Only listened to the game and watched the stats online - glad for the win, but for long stretch of the game we had 60% of the possession but half the shots that DC had.... We need to fix that somehow. OTOH - glad for the win, sounded like the ref let WAY too much go both ways. I think the word Charlie and Brad used was 'ridiculous'.

SEA dropped 2 in a 1-1 draw with COL! Revs magic number is now down to 2!
Revs have 69 points, and SEA needs to win their last 4 to reach 70.

I've lamented the lack of prowess at start of games this year, and this was another one. I get it that DC needed this a lot more than us, and if it was a one-time thing, then sure, it's excusable. But we've done this most of the year. We can't keep coming out flat.

I've also lamented the defense. This was another game that proved it. And so many of these defensive lapses are us giving the ball away ourselves. Let's be honest, when they had a chance to make it 2-0, just a minute or two after they scored our first, we all held our breath on that shot (thank you Turner!).

But when they're focused offensively, this team is an absolute joy to watch. They could have had 6 goals in that second half.

Any thoughts on the ref last night? I thought he was consistent at least, although, shall we say, unorthodox?

That's the right way to put it. He let a lot go early, and then mostly kept it up the rest of the game. But some of the non-calls (both ways) were absolutely ridiculous.

Yes, and then 6 minutes of stoppage time? Where did that come from? Plus an additional 2, just because?
