Another big game as anything less than a win could possibly see us fall out of a playoff spot (depending on how the other results go). So hopefully we can take the dominance of that last game and add some better finishing, so we aren't dependent on a stoppage-time PK to save the day. Mid-week away game on short rest so I assume we'll see some squad rotation in the starting-XI. Who do you think is starting?

    Let's Go Galaxy!!

    Games to watch tomorrow:

    MINN vs. PHI
    POR vs. VAN

We control our own destiny if we just win.

Yeah, our season is in our hands and the scheduling fates could not have been kinder to us. We have Houston and Dallas next. Two bottom feeding mofos one of which is already eliminated from the playoffs in the case of Houston. What more could we ask for?

And yeah I know Houston likes be the spoiler for Galaxy and end of the season runs but I don't want to hear it. Galaxy can learn from their mistakes and adapt can they not? Use your God given talent for the love of GOD!

That's my rant-o-the-day. You lose Galaxy and I don't want to hear how it got chippy or the goal kept moving on you or trap anything. You lose this game guys and stay in Texas. Buy a house, Don't come back here.

Oh yeah, and we use the same players minus those banged up and keep an eye on the older set to watch for fatigue at the half. Dejan starts or get subbed in at the half. We just had a two week break. We can't be all tuckered out. Same thing with same people. We do it again!

    Once more into the breach!

    GALAXY!!!

    Also DALLAS vs LMAOFC

In a just world, Pepi hangs a hat-trick on 'em tomorrow night and then on Thursday is sold to Wolfsburg.

    Once more with feeling,...

    ----------------DeJan----Chicha
    Efra-------Raveloson---Sasha---Grandsir
    Niko--------Williams---DePuy-------Araujo

If we are still suffering from injuries with Villafana then okay the back 4 will have to keep Niko,...ughhh. But you gotta reward DePuy with another start.

For the midfield we gotta reward Sasha with another start as well. But then its Vasquez or Llegett after minute 65.
    .
Again I want Cabral and Zubak as subs so DeJan and Chicha can go 90 for once this dang season. Make It So Vanney. MAKE IT SO!!

Sacha didn't start last game. I think he is a perfect 2nd half sub - he brings fresh energy and ideas off the bench, especially when we need a goal. Plus we need to not overwork him - a healthy Sacha come playoff time (hopefully) will be invaluable.

I'm with you on the Williams - DePuy repeat. I suspect the "excellent DePuy" we saw last week was a bit of an anomaly but why not go with it until it breaks? It's not like Sega has been playing well.

Niko also had a very good game against POR. Another anomaly that is likely a one game outlier but at least it gives me hope for his future with us.

CB I think either you keep the same CBs or swap them both (keep pairs together for chemistry). CBs don’t have to do the running as much as elsewhere on the field sans goal - stick with Williams Depuy.

ps: I’m also of the view Niko actually looked good against Portland. He’s been a disaster at times this season so it was surprising.

Cruel fate has me traveling tomorrow to Houston...

Either way, this is a must win but we have struggled in Texas unfortunately.

Reminds me of the time I was vacationing in Zion NP, Utah and dragged the family to find a nearby establishment to watch MLS cup so we could see LD miss a PK and RSL steal our MLS cup.

Let's go boys. Today and Saturday determine if we make the playoffs or not. There is still time to go on a run.

Yes Sacha was indeed a sub last game. I meant he should be rewarded with another start as in a start in general for the season. But yeah he is a great super-sub and I would otherwise be asking for Llegett in that spot for mostly speed and defensive purposes.

I’m feeling this way too. Worse teams have gone far. Lots of time to kibitz and throw deserving players (and coaches) under the bus in the off-season - only a short window to cheer for your team while the season hangs in the balance. So I’m now on board the “we can win” train. Throw out Hamalainen, Cabral, JDS, Zubak onto the pitch - those are “my guys” now. I’m 109% behind them. Let’s go, Galaxy! All aboard!

LOL. I remember that miss well. Thanksgiving week, on vacation with the family, all crowded together on the bed in the hotel to watch. In my family, before he was LegenD, he was Landon Fricking Donovan.

I agree with @skydog. As much as I like Sacha, he seems more effective as a sub. Maybe bring him on earlier, like the 55th minute if things aren't clicking rather than the 70' or 75' minute. If things are just going the wrong way, then start him the 2nd half.

If the boys can't beat a bad Houston team... They don't deserve playoffs. Don't want to hear any excuses about being away.

Looks like Lletget, Kljestan and Efrain rotate in for Vazquez, Raveloson and Grandsir, who are all available on the bench.
