Do we know why Forsberg was withheld until minute 83?

At least you know when it's coming and can brace yourself.

Second PK to PSG. Oh well. Hey, maybe people will be less focused on Adams pass to Mbappe to contribute to the second goal?

They are showing aerial of some goals on this one - wow, the horizontality on that Mukiele goal.......look at how Nkuku eschews the Berhalter ballet moves, squares up and plays the game in front of him.

One of the Paramount announcers disagrees with you. I thought it was harsh personally.

this should be in another thread but they are showing the Brugges game hilites and Mignolet let in a lot of goals Horvath would have saved. Check it out. Is Mignolet getting old? Brugge could always buy Horvath from Nottingham City.....

This isn't a Berhalter thread - kindly keep that kind of commentary to the other 1000 threads on Berhalter that exist.

Thought he was too deferential to Messi after the foul. He went back to help him up. Let his entitled butt drag himself off the turf kid!

RBL sixth and only two points from the CL. The Marsch hot seat has cooled a bit.

After losing in the CL and a very scary game against the worst team in the league? I kinda doubt it.

Looks like every one of his subs was exactly right though.

The ghost of another Covid Winter looms so large in Europe, people are not even clamoring to have coaches sacked like back in the day.

Red Bull doesn’t groom coaches only to toss them aside quickly. I don’t think it’s their culture.

Sure. I was only saying that if he was in the hot seat, then a this week wouldn't get him off it.

Yea fair I only saw the result not the match. But if he’s competing for the top 4 he’s in no danger. I don’t think he even needs to qualify to keep his job. RBL will be patient with him.

Tyler starts a Pokal match vs fourth division Babelsburg. Looks like Marsch may have broken out the 4-2-2-2 formation from Salzburg, but we'll see. Adams as a right-sided defensive midfielder, at any rate.

Adams header starts an attack, which sees Poulsen attempt a very long shot ineffectively.

Would you feel better if I admitted I'm paying more attention to Venezia and the Busio/Ribery battle?

The spacing is bad today, Adams and Kampl frequently on top of one another. Adams' touches have been fine, but RBL aren't generating many opportunities.

Angelino makes a steal and a nutmeg through ball that no one anticipates and no one goes for.

By the way, Babelsberg totally sounds like a made up German city from a novel, and not a real place.

Someone on RBL (Poulsen) FINALLY makes a really good final pass, and Szoboslai finishes to make it 1-0.

Adams muscles a dude off the ball, almost has his shorts ripped off in the process.

RBL reduced to time-wasting subs to see out a match with a fourth division side. Oof.

Nkunku puts it into the net from Forsberg, but slightly offside and we ain't done yet.
