I'm not sure we'll lose as many as 3/4, but agree that Livramento has to be the priority right now. If you were going to pick one player who might even end up better than TAA and James, he'd be my best guess.

That said, we are of course talking about a snapshot taken at this moment in their development and any young player's level/status can change very quickly. They may not all even end up playing at right-back.

I would be looking into trying Reece James in the squad as a DM. Think he suits that role at international level better than most we’ve played there.

Surprised to see Abraham starting for Roma right now as I was convinced he might be out for a few weeks at least after hobbling off against Hungary after about 5 minutes but it’s good to see.

Hopefully he gets back to his best soon, although we are quite spoilt at full back position for me he was most exciting one to watch.

He needs to think about getting a new agent because this type of stunt won't do him any favours.

Although I don’t know anyone in the media who didn’t find that decision bewildering

The obivous question is "what the hell does his agent have to do with this?".

Does anybody else see a fair bit of Paul Mersin in Emile Smith Rowe?
He's more disciplined than Merson (which isn't really hard), but very similar in how he runs with the ball

Really impressed by Connor Gallagher. Good on the ball, passing and works really hard. I would consider him for midfield fairly soon

Who do we think is the closest to a call up out of Skipp, Gallagher and Jones?

From those, I would have thought Gallagher at the moment, but Jones may jump ahead if he can get a decent run in the Liverpool side. Feels like he gets two or three games, then either a knock or dropped.

I would think Jones. He's the one that's performed at the highest level and he's already had one U21 campaign.

Jones has a great highlight reel but I still think he's quite raw in his current role. He was always more of an attacking mid and he's still learning the centre mid.

Gallagher seems more ready made right now.

Yes I have been very impressed with him ...he has a good physical presence as well - I already rate him higher than Rice who as you all know I can’t abide

Hes nowhere near rice's level yet. Rice is a champions league player in the making

Don’t rate him at all ... that said I do like players with skill or good technique

Gallagher is more of a box to box player, Rice a defensive midfielder.
