Beautiful interplay there by the boys. This is what we want to see. Shame we couldn’t convert. Depay strong there.

Edit: Holy, penno! Saw the replay, you could definitely give it!

Depay! 2-1. Great and powerful strike. No way Cillessen gets to that even if he dived the right way (or at all).

Where has this intricate passing, one-two’s and triangles been all this time? Win or lose this is how we should play all the time.

    Hope we keep this up.

Love those penetrating runs by Frenkie. So powerful. He just needed a bit more control there.

Wish Koeman would have just switched Dest to the left and put Demir in on the right. We’ve dropped off a bit since Fati came off.

Oh well. Hope Coutinho can score a screamer.

How was that not a foul on Alba? Got pushed into the shadow realm.

Great game by Gavi. He’s here to stay. La Masia is still producing gems baby. Now it’s Nico’s time to show what he’s got.

Not good by Dest. Didn’t have the control he needed there.

    I'll take it.

Valencia always give us fits, and this was a prime slip-up game coming off international break with CL and El Clasico ahead.

I don’t know how Coutinho was left so open for so long in front of the goal . Crazy .

Good result . Decent first half but second was a bit of a struggle .

This was one of our better games this season for sure. Only problem is consistency. We had some spells of beautiful football with intricate and purposeful passing which resulted into Fati’s goal and several moments of danger to the opponents goal.

Ansu Fati man, what a player. It’s easy to forget he just came back from a year-long struggle with injury. Seamless. Gavi as well, great game from him. It’s going to be a headache for Koeman once Pedri is back.

As I’ve been saying for a while, we have enough talent to be in the thick of it. Tired of hearing about the “lack of quality” argument.

Looking closely at the PK replay, I can see where there was contact with Fati's foot as he is taking the shot. So it looks like the right call.
