Presumably there will be lots of options for him and Salzburg know they must sell him soon. The guy is the type of player that is the hottest in the world right now. My opinion is that he deserves every bit of the attention he's gotten.
yeah, hes absolutely a mandatory callup next rotation. We did the gentlemen's "wait and see", and hes obviously got it. Time to bring him to the cool kids club. It would be pretty arrogant to not call him in this time.
Its a good problem to have but with our best 11 I'm not sure he's a starter but at minimum a super sub. But given Pulisic's injury problems he could end up starting. Another young player who you just seeing getting better and better.
Who are the next FCD academy products to get USMNT caps? More 2003s. Justin Che, of course. Another is Dante Sealy, currently on loan at Jong PSV. This is the Dutch second division. Dante is a dual national, but has represented USYNTs. Son of Scott Sealy, the former T&T forward. You can say that again! 😍#RODJPS https://t.co/kdftbdWPL7 pic.twitter.com/VUPd16z4RR— PSV (@PSV) October 16, 2021

Based on google translate, it looks to me like Mendez has a goal and an assist today. Maybe? All I know is there are two goals and two mentions of his name in the tweets. 27' #VitóriaFC 0 - 1 #FCVizela¡GOOOLOOO del VIZELA! ¡ALEX MÉNDEZ! Will there be time for a real camp before the WC? Not sure what the schedule is but obviously in the summer the group can get together for a few weeks. This time they’ll come in straight from the clubs; I’m assuming it’s a 1-week camp only but I have no idea.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/fifa-wo...irms-nov-21-start-for-2022-world-cup-in-qatar The calendar approved on Friday means clubs must release players to the 32 World Cup teams by Monday, Nov. 14, 2022 -- one week before the opening match.
Oof. Not good for us. With such a young squad and all the injuries we’ve suffered, I think we would benefit more than most with a long camp to gain chemistry.
One of the things I like about Miles is that he could man mark opposing wingers on our right side when dealing with speed demons who are looking to get in behind Dest (whom we have sent forward into attack). i.o.w., with 3 cb's line, Miles could play situational rb and we could do that even against high performance teams because Miles is athletic.
Season ends in Atlanta November, Miles begins training with BL club Dec 1, takes German Xmas break, gets fully bedded in with BL team in Jan pre-season and stays with them til end 9 season in May, Not too bad imo
I'm thinking maybe Salzburg gets out of group and plays UCL KO round while Leipzig doesnt get out of group and drops to Europa league. Tables turned. In that case, maybe Aaronson stays in Salzburg.
Just one more reason to HATE FIFA giving a bull shit WC to Qatar. What a joke. One week for teams to prepared for the biggest sporting event on the planet.
I imagine he can’t start training with the European club until the deal is final come the January window. Aaronson’s deal with Salzburg had been done for a long time but he didn’t actually start training with the club till January and even spent December at a national team camp.
Did Philadelphia get any kind of sell on fee? As I feel like this next transfer will be for a good amount.
Konrad DLF starts for Marseille and nearly sets up a goal in the first 5 minutes. He is looking dangerous. But Marseille CB just gave up a penalty.
Dest starts at RB for Barca, Musah on the bench for Valencia. Valencia scores first, not Dest's fault.
My understanding is that there is no restriction on a club taking a player in and testing him, training him etc. as long as the contract isn't wet until Jan1. How exactly that works in practice I don't know but I believe it is legal.
I think it’s more that because the contract/transfer can’t be official till January 1, clubs don’t want to risk an injury or something happening. I don’t think there are any restrictions to it happening, I think it’s more that the selling club normally doesn’t want to take that risk while the player is still on their books.
