It is a difference of opinion with regards to nature vs nurture rather than me misreading your posts. I agree with you on a lot of things but I don't see any reason to reiterate your points so I don't comment. However, when I see an argument that I think is contradictory or wrong, I point it out. I don't see a problem with having disagreements as long it is respectful. Why do I bother? I don't know. You are basically the only active poster. Who else could I disagree with? lol As far as Austrian talents vs American/Canadian talents, you are right that there are a lot of Austrians in the BuLi and some of them like Baumgartner and Grillitsch(Alaba in the past) block our youngsters' pathway to the first team. They are a problem too. But why do I mention the Canadians and American? There is a massive difference in the population of these countries. It is 9 million vs 370 million. That's why I've never thought of Austria as a threat. There are more Austrians in the league than Americans/Canadians but MLS academies or other types of North American academies exporting decent talents is a recent phenomenon. There is no shortage of athletes in North America so if they get their shit together in terms of youth development like they seem to be doing, it could be a problem in 5-10 years. I know most Americans and Canadians dream of playing in the Premium League but they seem to want to pass through Germany first because of players like Davies, Pulisic and Reyna.
They know he is not worth that much. Aside from release clauses being mandatory in Spain, they want to avoid losing him to PSG. A few years ago, they thought 222 million for Neymar was too big a clause for another club to activate it. They were wrong. Now they want to make sure that doesn't happen again. I prefer Wirtz and Musiala to Pedri too but they are different kinds of players. They shouldn't be compared, IMO. They have different roles. Pedri is a player who seeks to control the tempo of the game. Wirtz and Musiala play further forward.
no you constantly misread my posts and can't take a hint to move on. none of this interest me anyways, so why involve me. I have 0 interest to debate or discuss in lenght foreign players. Sure I'll post about them doesn't mean a debate is necessary and 90% of your postings is - or foreign players and neither interests me.
Another impressive result for Union this time v Wolfsburg. Unusual for a team playing in Europe for the first time in a while (or ever) to perform well in the BL, will be interesting to see if they can keep it up. Freiburg also continue to look very solid.
damn, LOL. Never rated Sargent and helped get Bremen relegated but won't escape 2nd relegation. 1449386923060047872 is not a valid tweet id
Bayern 4-0 nil up in 35 minutes, some of the football kimmich, Muller Goretzka, sane, lewo, ganebry, Davies playing is out of this world, their pressing is unblievable. Neiglesmann has taken Bayern to another level.
Seoaune and Roger Schmidt not only has similarity in hairstyle, they also couldnt do anything to change B04 long drought of success whether domestic League or in Europe.
Today is peak Loserkusen, I remember a similar thrashing that happened last season. This performance also further reaffirms that Bayern are a class above the rest and well on their way to another league title.
It helps when the opposition doesn't have a defensive midfielder. Plus, they were playing with the likes of Tah and youngsters like Kossounou and Frimpong in defence. If Aranguiz had been there, it might have been less embarrassing. Don't they have a back-up DM for the injured Aranguiz? I don't know what Seoane was thinking. The formation and player selection was too attack-minded against probably the best team in the world. German teams should deploy a 5-5-0 formation with everyone in and around their own penalty box against Bayern. Like Frankfurt did recently. They have no chance if they try to play attacking football. The difference in quality is way too big.
Leverkuson went to 5 at the back in the second half and bayern did find it much tougher, even though Bayern did ease off.
