I think this is likely why, still has improvements,
In order to get even better at dribbling, decision-making and finishing, additional exercises are also regularly part of his training schedule.

should have scored in CL too....
regardless Knauff>>>>>>Reinier who is likely to axe loan in Winter.

    fun fact
    -01 CF/W Schade
    -02 CF Beier

    both Energie Cottbus products

back in Oct 9, it was said 03 RB Semic is out for 2 months....just saw that now....

Hannes Wolf still has him in view
“He doesn't have to worry,” says Hannes Wolf. "Even after his rehab he stays on our radar, so he's not out of the window now." Wolf, head coach of the German U19 juniors, should at least provide a little relaxation for Lion Semic.

so yeah U19 beat Portugal and Dutch missing TONS of players. Kraft was 1st choice RB and looks to have done well.

    03 AM Cabrera,
"Happy to make my debut for the German National team and be able to win the tournament."

let's hope less - on Germany than years ago. Saying he'll play for Uruguay as he's NOT German, 100% Uruguyan blood etc and going on a rant.

same for 00 CF Jesaja Herrmann who to justify playing for Ghana, adds that he's a black man....what does it have to do with anything? Almost like no black players play for Germany.......born and raised in Germany and 100% German dev and his surname is from German stepfather too.

wonder why so hard to just say, I prefer Uruguay or Ghana and be done with it.....why add - towards Germany???

and akward since Cabrera did play for dfb post rant....

still expect Cabrera to play Uruguay Senior NT though. Small country with small population more space to breakthrough than Germany Senior NT. I do think Cabrera=Klimowicz=immigrants=attached to South American country of origin, so don't expect Germany to be 1st choice.

Katterbach update, and this is why continuing u21 call ups will only boost him.
For Baumgart, after his arrival in Cologne, it was clear very quickly that Katterbach would initially play a subordinate role. “Noah is a young player who needs to develop. We have clearly given him what we expect from him. And that is what he also implements. He's getting better and better physically, ”said the coach, who made it clear that he wasn't dissatisfied with Katterbach.

Competitive situation makes Katterbach to create
In particular, the reassignment of Jonas Hector to the left-back position was groundbreaking for Katterbach. "If you are behind Jonas, then you have to work hard to get the place," Baumgart knows. In addition, Benno Schmitz and Kingsley Ehizibue are two other established players who can play on the left as well as on the right.

“The competition is great,” says Baumgart. As stupid as it sounds: For Katterbach it is now simply a matter of showing what he can do every week. "He does it very well in the U21," praised Baumgart. “I'm with Antonio di Salvo [coach of the German U21 national team, editor's note. Red.] In exchange. He is very happy with it. So do we when it comes to training and behavior. "

And so Baumgart can only say that Katterbach is “on the right track”. Due to the competitive situation, the prospect of Bundesliga appearances should initially be bleak.

even U21 tbh, with new rule about 21 and being tied for good might want to avoid that. Its why Klimowicz isn't playing for U21. I think we'll tie a lot of players with new rule and lose bunch of them too.

-02 M/W Bokake looks pissed that H96 are liars. H96 has been bad for youth for years now.

-Massimo might still make Stuttgart squad even with covid test. Same for Bredlow so Schock might not make his debut.

    HANNES WOLF: "EXTREMELY LIVING TEAM"
The U19 national team won the four-nation tournament in Slovakia convincingly. Coach Hannes Wolf speaks in an interview with DFB.de about the days in Banska Bystrica and dares to look ahead to the European Championship qualification starting in November.

DFB.de: Mr. Wolf, the four-nation tournament began for your team with the game against the hosts from Slovakia. Was that 6: 1 the perfect start?

Hannes Wolf: That was really good, yes. Especially since the opponent wasn't as bad as the result might suggest at first. The Slovaks won their other two games against the Netherlands and Portugal. Despite the difficult space, we didn't allow anything - and reacted well to the goal we caught shortly after the break. All in all a very good international match, a great start.

DFB.de: It was followed by a closer match against strong Portuguese. With new staff.

Wolf: We had 23 players in the squad. Our clear goal was for everyone to start at least once and hear the anthem on the pitch. Compared to the game in Slovakia, we made a complete switch against Portugal and just won 2-1. We were able to rely on the high individual quality to a certain extent. The guys threw everything in and were very effective - like the whole tournament.

DFB.de: The third game against the Netherlands was about winning the tournament. The team secured it with a 4: 1. How did you like the performance?

Wolf: It was a great end. We really had to bite. The Netherlands revealed a few things on our defense - without punishing us more than once. With their footballing quality, they have given us starting points that we must continue to work on. Nevertheless, our determination and conviction for the future were top.

DFB.de: What is your conclusion for the eleven days in Slovakia?
Wolf: That was a really great trip. Both in terms of sport and off the pitch, the team was extremely lively. Everyone felt like it, took on responsibility and integrated the new ones well. The accommodation was great, the staff worked well. So we have become a real unit in a short time. All in all, a well-rounded story that gives us confidence to qualify for the European Championship.

DFB.de: You are addressing the debutants. What impression did they make on you?
Wolf: Players like Kwadwo Baah, who plays for Watford in England and scored 1-0 twice, or Mainz's Ben Bobzien had great debuts. Robert Wagner plays in the 3rd division at SC Freiburg II, played a major role in our team and scored against Slovakia and the Netherlands. So there were good premieres there.

DFB.de: How do you explain the newcomers' strong performances?
Wolf: It's quite logical for me: the long breaks in play meant that the players developed differently. There are already a few who now stand out again and arrive at a very high level. Especially the players who - for example in the 3rd league - were able to gain more match practice.

DFB.de: Some players who would be eligible to play in the U19s play in the U21s or with Hansi Flick in the senior team.
Wolf: Right. Youssoufa Moukoko, Jamal Musiala, Luca Netz or Florian Wirtz should still play. This must not be forgotten. I don't know if it has ever happened before, that four players moved up from the U19 and you still have the feeling: This is a good team.

DFB.de: That shows not only the goal difference in the four-nation tournament ... Wolf: We're just happy that we were able to win games at this level. If you score 12-3, then you've done some things right. Before that, the boys scored four points against Switzerland and England in September. All in all, these have been great games so far.

DFB.de: That should give the team a tailwind for the European Championship qualification starting in November, right?

Wolf: Now the players are going back to the clubs first. Of course, we try to give impulses so that they can continue to pull through with the club. They qualified for the national team through their performances there. It is important to continue that, regardless of whether it is in the regional or national league, in the cup or in the youth league.

DFB.de: What would you like for the time leading up to the first qualifying game against the Faroe Islands?
Wolf: That the boys stay healthy and live up to their leadership roles in the clubs. When the time comes, we can concentrate on qualifying for the European Championship and step on the gas in Greece. As a coaching team, we want to maintain good teamwork and good communication with the clubs until then.

DFB.de: What is your goal for the first qualifying round?
Wolf: We want to win the group. Even if Russia and Greece are two teams that shouldn't be underestimated. Then in March comes the elite round, one of the toughest competitions in international football. Until then, we want to go step by step.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the U19s in the games that were broadcast in the last couple of months( vs Switzerland, England and Slovakia). The performances of pretty much all the players were very good and encouraging which is amazing given the absences of Moukoko, Musiala, Wirtz, Netz, etc. The performances of the U21 team were also very, very good. The only thing that I didn't like was the first half performance of the German U20 team against Norway last month. I have yet to watch the second half of that match and I have to watch the match against Romania U20s from a few days ago. But the way the U19s and U21s are developing is fantastic. Hannes Wolf is doing a good job with the boys after flopping at HSV. I like his tactics.

u20=u18=u16=nothing but friendlies, dfb tends to see u20 as u21 back up.

Hannes Wolf's issue according to some during his time at HSV is that he's tactically too advanced wanting things for players to do who don't have skills to do. Give him more gifted players like DFB for example and you'll get more from him. Do agree about HSV, I don't rate vast vast majority of that squad.

he's NOT only German coach who gets handicapped by taking jobs at clubs with players lacking and than unable to see out his ideas/vision well. Followed his HSV job with Genk more poor choice on his part.

-both Thielmann and Lemperle are fit again and back in squad for tomorrow 1BL Koln match!!!!

-Rene Adler impressed by Angelo Stiller.

-on 01 CF/W Schade, he also wrecked Dortmund too when he played against them and played big role in Freiburg getting goal vs Koln which saw 01 W Weisshaupt make debut both did a lot of damge on Koln with speed/dribbling and Weisshaupt got tying assist after dribbling past 2. Hopefully both get full integration this season. Schade has 1 XI too.

    Top clubs watch Freiburg-Juwel Schade

Kevin Schade convinces on his debut for the German U21 national team. The jewel of SC Freiburg has long made it onto the notes of the top clubs.

The season so far has gone like clockwork for Kevin Schade. After he scored 13 goals in the Regionalliga Südwest with the second team of SC Freiburg last year, he was able to celebrate his Bundesliga debut on the 2nd matchday of this season. Four weeks later, Christian Streich nominated the 19-year-old winger for the first time in the Breisgau team.

Last week Schade made his debut in the German U21 national team. In the furious 3-2 victory over Israel, he directly contributed a hit. "It's indescribable that I was able to score and that we also scored the winning goal in the end. And that I was allowed to play from the start - that was a great evening," said the offensive player (via kicker), delighted with his debut his trainer Christian Streich had followed closely.

"He got in touch and asked if I was okay and looked at the goals," revealed the 19-year-old, who added: "He doesn't have to rein me in, I'm still on the ground and I will stay that way. Now it's time to say to carry on like this. "

Said and done. Five days after his U21 debut, Schade was again in the starting line-up against the Hungarian team - and conjured up a gala on the floor. In the 5-1 success he was able to record two goals of his own and two assists. "That was what I had hoped for, that they would confirm the game against Israel again. And they showed that," said U21 coach Antonio Di Salvo afterwards about Schade and Malik Tillman, who is also new to the German selection was there.

According to the kicker, Schade, who has been wearing the SC Freiburg jersey since 2018, has long been targeted by domestic and foreign top clubs. But in the camp of the youngster you stay cool and instead want to use the quiet in Breisgau to develop yourself further.

"We see Kevin in very good hands in Freiburg at the moment, the SC is an excellent address for young talents", his advisor Maik Barthel explained to the specialist magazine that one does not waste much thought on a change.

-Bredlow barely makes Stuttgart squad guess no debut for Schock outside of pro bench debut. Stuttgart coach said Schock does very well in training and trusts him blablabla but reality would never use him unless forced too.

-Article on 05 attacker Krattenmacher, nex top talent from Unterhaching after Adeyemi? 13 goals in 8 matches and leading scorer of Sud/Sudwest.

    -00 CF Besong looks back,
Meanwhile, two long-injured strikers are working their way up again step by step, who have not yet played a minute of competitive play this season: the massive Paul Besong (21) is fully involved in team training and could make his comeback in the U21s next weekend.

what a talent 04 CF Copado is.
1 goal and 1 assist and 2-1 HT for Bayern II vs 3rd place aka competitor for promotion. Only 2nd XI for II as well.

    5 goals/assists in 6 RL matches playing 215 min, goal/assist every 43 min.

as usual shows very very fantastic movement, good speed, dribbling, pressing, combination play. Not too bad back to goal but can still improve there though, will only get better as he improves physicality. Should be on a hat trick, one of GK saves from Copado solo run vs 3 saw ball hit crossbar. A nuisance for D and Copado also goes back to D too.

OBM assisted Copado's goal off a good Tillman pass for tap in but game shows Copado's striker instincts even if tap in. Copado's assist was pretty nice, back to goal, chests ball and than volleys with back to goal to unrushing Vidovic with good finish.

as usual when a CF plays (Copado is sole CF), Tillman plays AM.

Mehmet Can-Aydin lasted only 15 minutes today. It looked like he injured his left thigh without contact with any other player. He wasn't called up by the national team. He had 12 days to rest. There is no reason to get injured in the beginning of the match. 5 minutes before he went off, he hit the post. It was a decent opportunity to score on the right side inside the box. The angle was kind of tight but not impossible. I would say there was around 30% chance to score but he didn't.

Maximilian Beier looks fast and aggressive which are attributes that German coaches love so it's not surprising that he starts. The one time when it was important to be aggressive but he wasn't for some inexplicable reason was in the 26th minute. There was a cross inside the 6 yard box and he was next to the defender but I don't why he just let the defender head the ball way instead of challenging him. It doesn't matter if he commits a foul He had to try his luck there. He is not short. According to tm, he is 183cm but I thought he was 5-6 cm taller. He looks taller on camera. Aside from that, he cleverly started a counter attack when he got past Kaminski( or Ouwejan) with a flick and the latter had to commit a tactical foul and deservedly got booked. Later on, there was a pre-rehearsed set-piece routine in which Beier had to shoot from outside the box but funnily he had a complete airshot and then lost the ball started a counter attack for the opposition( Schalke). He won the ball a few times which was good to see. He looks technically proficient and showed clever off-the-ball movement a couple of times. Hannover don't look very good in the final third overall. Hinterseer missed a sitter in the first half and the right-back's deliveries were poor. He was kind of invisible in the beginning of the second half so he was subbed off in the 63rd minute.

Thiaw tried to shoot from the edge of the box in the 33rd min. I don't know what he was doing so high up the pitch. Good initiative. He earned a corner on that occasion. All in all, it was a solid showing from him.

Linton Maina was invisible the whole match unfortunately.

-Bayern II ends 2-2, should have won that.
Copado, Tillman and OBM played well.
    -Koln II with 6-2 W,

club needs to do something with 02 W Obuz, whether integration or loan.
    2020-2021 season, 9 goals in 23 matches
2021-2022 season, 7 goals and 2 assists in 8 matches

03 M Castrop scored winning goal and his 1st in adult world same for 02 W Jansen.

    -Hertha II with 3-2 L,
01 M Albrecht and 02 CF Scherhant both scored 2nd of season.

I see 01 CB Morgenstern not in squad, good chance with 1st team.

    that Copado assist!!'

Lucas Copado Schrobenhauser 2026 German national player marked my words

I hope Copado makes CL debut next month if Bayern has any irrelevant matches. I hope we don't see A-Hole Nagelsmann who kills any youth chances for his ego mania perfectionism of wanting 6 wins out 6.... And yes totally see him doing that.

any irrelevant CL matches (1-2 matches). Last season was 2 and Flick used them on youth as well should be used on youth......don't waste them on guys who have no future at club and no need to overplay starters either.

so far Moukoko and Copado are only 04 CFs who don't play U19.
Kabadayi who is W/CF and out until Jan 1 played in RL but only temp.

Samardzic......you won't win shit with Serbia, lulz.

    What are your long-term goals?

Like probably any kid, I want to be part of a European Championship and a World Cup, play the Champions League and preferably also win. I trust myself to do it.

would drop Appelkamp next month and call up Samardzic instead.

    Marco Rose on Knauff,
On Ansgar Knauff's German U21 debut: “"To be nominated there and to come at the time of the game is great. I was really happy for him. We are in regular contact.I hope this gives him a big boost,There was a phase when some things didn't go off so easily for him, we talked about them openly. Everyone has to work hard and earn every effort."

so that's Bayern, Freiburg, Koln, and Dortmund who reacted to dfb u21.
feels success of u21 has increased clubs/coaches enthusiasm more than in past.

even Leipzig highlighted that both Krauss and Jakel both on loan until 2022 got dfb u21 call up.
