And McKennie just standing around in midfield as Costa Rica commit numbers forward. Now trying to make up for his lazy play by dribbling 2-3 defenders when a simple pass would do. Dest with bad defending initially. Then compounds it by going outside the field of play keeping Costa Rica on. In general just not enough energy to match Costa Rica from the start. Some of these guys simply don’t turn on for international matches. Think the win is just gonna be handed to them.
Already tentative, can’t control the ball at their feet, playing footsie in their own half, coughing the ball up, unconnected passes on attack and uncoordinated attacks - woeful yet again, and only the first 10 mins.
I really don't like this argument. Who chooses the players and then continually calls them? If they can't pass or trap call up someone else. It's not like he has to choose anyone.
A lot of our players seem to think like some fans do, that club resume can make up for lazy, selfish and indifferent play.
If a player is beyond the goal line, he’s considered on the goal line for offside purposes. It’s obscure, but as a referee I can tell you that’s in Law 11.
People who think a better manager, a more high profile coach wouldn't have an influence on a young squad like this are probably getting paid by USSF to post here
No. Not Qualifying will get him sacked. Even if these cats barely qualify, this POS of an organization in US Soccer would not fire him.
His momentum took him out of bounds he would've needed a jet pack to come back into onside position before the ball was redirected toward goal. Just stop.
