Why do American fans ALWAYS underrate Costa Rica? I will never understand it. They have been better than us in the modern era…they have achieved more. These guys deserve respect.

And Costa Rica is really old. And their main starters have almost all played all the minutes in both games this window so far. And they are so thin outside of a few main guy and in the team in total- vast majority play in the Costa Rican league The absolutely ONLY strategy is to run these guys in the ground from minute 1 and challenge them to keep up with the pace. Destroy them. Be aggressive in their half and keep it there. Anything less than foot on throat is giving them air to breathe and survive. Use the energy of the crowd as fuel.
