This game finally showed up on ParkMobile's website, but the only spaces you can reserve are the $25 and $30 ones right by the stadium. None of the other ones in the Arena District are showing up on it.
I've got two tickets in section 108 row 15 that i'm just trying to get my money back or near. Hit me up if interested Did anyone not get notified initially about winning the lottery? I didn't know that I had tickets until I got the "what to know before you go" email. I searched my email trash and spam and couldn't find anything notifying me.
Parking has been available for a few days now I’m seeing a few different options here: https://arenadistrict.parkmobile.io/venue/lower-com-field/events/113730
it’s because all the face people who “have” to be in prime “look at me” areas aren’t able to do that for this game.
Not for me. If it was GA I would just have someone screenshot a ticket and cram in somewhere. Can’t do that with assigned seats. Of course, I can only do that when the wife isn’t with me. [emoji23]
I think the bigger issue is the lack of clarity for those attending, especially Crew STMs. How is it still unsettled the day before the match? But, as the very handsome @Hamburgler03 noted, the agony some super special fans are experiencing amuses me.
I'm sitting here worried for the children because through all of this, no one has asked "Won't anyone think of the children?" I swear there was at least one WCQ at CCS that SA (or AO) sections were not GA. Maybe I am mis-remembering, but I think it was said because of bleacher safety in the temporary south stands. Rather than GA or assigned seats -- the tickets should be advertised as being in a "Don't be a dick" section.
Historically, officially it's been GA per section meaning you can officially stand anywhere in your assigned section. Toward the end of last cycle and then all of this cycle, it's been assigned seats and no GA at all for Supporters section. I don't buy it at all that this has anything at all to do with contact tracing. I got COVID in Nashville and sure as hell, nobody did any contact tracing for that. I believe this is more of a FIFA thing that cracking down on allowing any GA due to liabilities.
So here's my situation: I was taking a good friend from out of town to the match with the pair I got in 238. It turns out a friend of his "won" the lottery with west club tickets in section 118. He got 4 tickets and couldn't find anyone to buy them. So, me and my buddy are going to join them down in 118, so my pair in 238 are now going to go unused. If I am able to get an offer for them, I'm going to give the money to the dude who got stuck with the 4 in 118. If I don't get an offer, they'll just be empty seats. Seems like this is a "Supply is greater than demand" situation, likely because of the pricing. Hilariously, USSF isn't allowing me to list the tickets for resale for anything below the $140 face value (i mistyped it as 120 above). So, if you want a deal on some tickets and not pay fees--give me a DM. I assume since there are some tickets still left, they don't want to be undercut by the resale market. Otherwise, there will be some empty seats up at the top of section 238!
yeah. I think that for the most part, people really into soccer are going to the game. Ticket prices though are killing the market for the semi-interested or "new" fans that normally would fill the rest of the demand.
Ticketmaster shows lots of seats available. Including lots in blue, from the match organizer as well as pink for resellers. I was able to buy seats last week below face price but it looks like prices have risen today for resellers even though there is plenty of availability.
Yeah for me it's just the uncertainty. I work til 5 and can't get to the stadium until 6:30 at the absolute earliest - don't really want to have to argue with somebody who's been drinking all afternoon + standing in my ticketed spot. Cause then at that point I'm standing in someone else's spot
Or, just hear me out, office drinking. With unemployment this low, there really isn't a reason to not drink in the office.
I have a hard time paying double the price for second level tix (no bad seat at LDC tbf) when i can get tix for half that price, row 5 on the sideline, for the game on Saturday. It’s just simple economics for me.
You can watch soccer for free every night at a ton of parks around town. Why pay for Crew tickets when you can watch for free? There is a premium to pay for an event that is rare as opposed to one of 17 home games.
