I think this team deserves more credit. As has been recently demonstrated, it’s not easy to win both the euros and the nations league to claim the title of Undisputed European Champion. thoughts?
Italy just had something magical about them from start to end of the Euros. Portugal had more of a roller coast ride and their football was not as aesthetically pleasing to me even though they won both tournaments. During Portugal's run I was like man they should have lost that match in various moments. Never really felt that way about Italy.
I don't disagree, but I felt Italy should have lost to Spain. Now that Spain made Italy look rather pedestrian yet again in the Nations league, it's seems clear they are a level above Italy.
