Eh, 10% annual turnover for an entry level position isn't that high. Lots of restaurants and retail stores would kill for that. One of my nephews works at an Amazon warehouse and he seems to like it.

The bartender at Betty's will probably give you better service and actually wants to make it easy for you to spend money.

That’s great service, good to hear. Marissa was my rep at first and I thought she was pretty solid.

I sent the crew an email on Friday about why their credit was wrong. I have yet to hear back. I am not renewing my seats until this gets resolved.

Unfortunately, I won’t be renewing next season. My 6 year old son hasn’t “caught the bug” and complains nearly every time we go. He had a little more fun in 2019 as we’d go up early and play in the playground to burn out some energy before kickoff but this new stadium doesn’t really have a whole lot to keep a young one occupied. Perhaps we’ll try again in a few years when he’s a little older.

Good luck. How far was it off? And I'm guessing they're saying your credit is smaller than what you're saying it should be?

I think they made it as intentionally confusing as they possible could have. I lost track and am pretty sure i got shorted out on parking $$$, but decided that there was no way I was going to be able to keep it straight.

Keep us updated on your progress?

Yes, it is short. It is either $97 short or $402 short depending on the scenario they are spinning. Honestly it isn't so much about the money now but the principal.

Why should I keep giving them my hard earned money when they short their customers and tell then when presented with the facts tell them it probably won't go any where. I'm not saying they have done it on purpose but when presented with the facts that you have in fact shorted a customer the only response is to fix it unless you don't want to keep them as a customer.

I have been a season ticket holder since the second season. It has been harder and harder to stay a season ticket holder with the fact that as season ticket holders our benefits get less and less and my life gets busier and busier with kids in sports.

Its actually pretty easy to keep track of if you take their second scenario which says that the us open cup game was an added benefit. Then that means whatever your full season price for tickets at the new stadium would be divided by 17. That amount should have been credited 4 times for the 4 games that were played at historic crew stadium and then the reductions to your credits would be whatever you bought at the old stadium and would have been less since tickets were less there.

    I will keep you updated.

Haha, yes. It should have been principle not principal. Good catch.

Did the Crew give Season Ticket holders any type of gift this year?

And also remember these are sales people you are dealing with. They could give a shit if your numbers are right. They just want to put a smile on your face. They’ll blow smoke up your nose and tell you someone higher up (that can follow math) will call you back. It’s just the way it is.

Interesting, is that a ring? Did they mail it to you? I didn't get one.

If you were a full season ticket holder this season, there was a coupon for one ring per account in your Crew Account Manager (may have been at the bottom of the list). They were redeemed starting at the first game in the new stadium (or was it the watch party?).

At every game they set up a tent out on the plaza. ( Or at least they have so far. It's probably getting close to the point where most people have picked theirs up, I'm which. ase you should.trot over to customer service and ask)

You show them a bar code which appears on your account along with your tickets and they hand you a box.

    It is a ring.

There was a voucher in my ticket account I redeemed on the plaza after a game.

Not sure if they are still doing that on the plaza or not, but it’s a pretty nice gift. I showed it to a few friends that flew in for the Sounders game.

I tend to wear mine to matches....and special occasions. Fits the right middle finger well--which always makes me smile and think about our former owner....

I wore mine to the FCKY game but my daughter threatened to disown me if I wore it again. :)

I may wear it to the Mexico game to see if anyone from Food Lion FC notices.

Thanks for the gift information. I didn't see it on my account and rarely go to the plaza. My seats are on the other side and I usually go in the back door.

Columbus (and I'd imagine many other cities) has a "tale of two cities" going on. If you want a nice one-bedroom, it'll cost you out the ass. If you want another place, well, there's certainly places where nobody really wants to live.

For a one-bedroom, $11/hr isn't cutting it. If $1000/mo is for rent and rent is supposed to be 1/3 of income, no wonder people are pushing for higher wages.

There isn't really too much for the people in the middle.

This is also true. Sure, they may give you 30 minutes for lunch, but if the break room is 12 minutes away and there's only three microwaves for 20 people...welp.

I'm not saying Amazon is a *bad* place to work, but a lot of the warehouse/distribution jobs are just plain awful by default.

Yeah, that's something that shouldn't have been overlooked. With all the new "bells and whistles" there isn't much to occupy kids who want to run around. I remember the people complaining during the first few years of the stadium and then we got the playground and eventually the mini-field followed.

I'm not sure where they'd add something like that now.

    Bummer.
