midfield looks stagnant. they are need to track back a bit more and apply some pressure in the center. Iran are starting to find holes...

edit: literally called it a minute before they scored.

Iran meant to equalize. They were dominating and ******** LJS for losing that ball.

they are slicing and dicing us up while we attempt tiki taka within a 10 yard radius and then try to long ball it after suprisingly running out of space. do we not know how to switch fields?

It was an ideal result for us. As long as we didn't lose. Also, LJS can fck off and call up LKI instead.

Fair result at the end. I have a strong suspicion that the return leg will be a dead rubber though! Which is a shame. Unlucky with hitting the goalpost twice. While the Korean keeper is going to get the majority of blame for Iran goal, he did keep Korea in the game by his saves in the first half.

A draw away to Iran is always a decent result, but it feels a bit disappointing since we had control in first half and scored the first goal of the match.

Hoping for UAE and Iraq draw now!

LJS and HUJ should've been subbed out around '70. Our guys looked completely exhausted, stopped pressing and lost control of the midfield, which in turn led to Iran getting chance after chance. It's just concerning how Bento just sat there doing nothing until we finally conceded. This man is not a good manager.

Also, this team seriously lacks quality passing and possession in the midfield. Not sure why Bento isn't giving LKI a shot given the circumstances.

I don't see much in NSH, and that last shot just confirms what I think about him.

I really hope Bento ********s off soon, though it sadly won't happen.

Fair result overall. Iran had better chances, including but not limited to hitting the post a couple of times. But S. Korea had their chances too (including right before the whistle) and looked more interested in 3 points than Iran. Congratulations to both sides for a good 2nd half, while the 1st half was largely lackluster.

Again bento subbing late. That Iran goal could have been avoided if he subbed out LJS once Iran started pushing. He did this vs syria where he subbed late thus causing us the equalizer. That guy just never learn from his mistake.

First half was really good. Totally controlled the game. Second half, nee. Son was sloppy but scored the important goal as usual. Hwang EJ totally lost up top sadly.
Kim MJ a monster as usual. Damn he is important for this team.

Decent result for both teams. At the time of our next encounter in Seoul, Iran and Korea should both already have booked their ticket to Qatar.
