The very abbreviated week of MLS action saw Cincy be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Phil Neville had a post match meltdown. The Sounders kept rolling on. The Rapids continued their strong season as well. More playoff position 5 pointers await us this week!!! World Cup Qualifiers will be listed for Concacaf here, as a safe place for those who'd rather not venture into the Hive of Scum & Villainy, AKA BS's USMNT threads... All game times are eastern. National TV games are noted, and all non-national games can be watched on your local teams channel or ESPN+. This is a NEUTRAL thread, In other words keep the bull**** out of here. Dallas gets the league bye. After this week every team will be on 29 games played except New England, Chicago, and Houston will have 30.
I chuckled, thanks for that. There are a few pretty important matches this weekend, definitely interested to see if SJ or LAFC can deathblow the other with a win, and Portland can almost wrap up a home match + put the Galaxy at the cliffs edge with a win.
Austin's strategy this week is to get some scrub sent off on a straight red in the 14th minute and then score the next four goals.
Mrs. Ismitje and I will be in New York on Sunday, probably at the game. But while I am comfortable with some travel, I've been on that train out to Red Bull Arena a few times and didn't like the crowding even pre-Covid. So it's 50-50 for us right now.
If you are vaccinated you are pretty safe; but obviously that is your call. I like giving travel advice as I rarely travel.
Is there a big hockey message board? Not sure who I post my random in game kraken thoughts and comments to...
Agreed. You see the toe of the skate come up on the follow through. NBC wasn't great, but ESPN coverage needs to get much better very quickly.
Looks like the actual ESPN2 broadcast starts at 5:30, so the listed 6 on the MLS website might be right.
Then I best get my task I need daylight for done here on my lunch break because with the game starting at 5pm MT it will be dark, or nearly so, by the time it finishes
Having learned (re-learned) my lesson on Sunday, I'm staying as far away from Mos Eisley as possible this evening. Not even the late scratch of Paul Arriola will improve the mood over there.
