Well, I wanted to know what linguistic & political gymnastics you were using to put everyone to the left of the Koch Foundation in the same tent. So thanks for proving your cowardice.
When a parent or group of parents makes threats of violence to elected officials and/or other parents for their choices to influence the decisions of said officials - that is by definition - terrorism

Took that one off your hands

It really isn't, and you know it isn't, because we as a society did not give the police the power to kill individuals, absent a direct & immediate threat to their or another life. However, the deification of military & police service since the mid-90's in the service of solidifying a certain social / economic / political order under the veil of "safety" has lowered the threshold to the point that anyone a cop feels threatened by can be executed.

I mean, just imagine of the cops had that kind of cover with organized crime where they could just go around killing Italian Americans and Russians involved in those sorts of activities

Just to highlight this part. Feel is the operative term. The officers don’t even have to be in any real danger. That’s why a police officer can roll up on a black kid with a pellet gun, shoot and kill that kid mere seconds after arriving on scene, and then have little to no punishment for the actual shooting.

You also skipped over the racist rhetoric that he was comparing crime to murder/killings. It always has been the trope to distract.

I watched one of the original episodes of Cops. It was quite funny to see the lackadaisical approach to gun safety back then, such as holding a gun in one hand, waving it around, with a finger on the trigger.

I only patronize strip clubs owned & operated POC - the views are better
Or in the case of Ahmad Aubrey, couple of civilians can kill a fella and the whole ass justice system will try to cover for them
Not to mention violent crime has been trending down for decades, especially murders. Fuck, lets face it, if a white person dies or disappears - best look at the spouse / significant other. They have a tendency to stage the crimes scenes so poorly that it's just a courtesy that the police let them get on camera to indict themselves
There's always 6-7 cops every year that manage to wound themselves or fellow officers, usually during training, with poor firearms discipline

When fellow leftoids at Politico notice how bad it is and actually diagnose, -- sort of --- the issues more or less accurately, you know your are in it deep.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2021/10/11/biden-coronavirus-pandemic-515764

Not the "simplest" of possible conclusions...almost right -- actually, the most SIMPLISTIC of conclusions

And, oh....lookee here!!!! Hmmm...."malaise" -- when was THAT word last applicable to a Democratic president? At least that guy knew how to run a real ship before he Peter Principled himself into urging people to wear cardigans.

Biden's never done ANYTHING real and is continuing the streak.

“There is a malaise,” said Sarah Longwell, a moderate Republican strategist who became a vocal supporter of Biden in 2020, and led the focus group of Democratic voters. “People don’t feel like their lives have been improved. They did sort of feel that promises aren’t being kept.”
To Longwell's credit, at least she didn't trot out the tired "it's all Trump's fault " like the highly appreciated Jen Psaki, or the midwit posters on here who litter these threads with stupid anti-Trump memes.

Longwell said she was struck by how similar the concerns of Democrats sounded to Republicans, and also by how little Democrats in her surveys blame Republicans for standing in Biden’s way. It’s a point echoed by nearly a dozen strategists who have compiled or reviewed research into Biden’s precipitous decline.

Biden and Democrats in Washington “are in a morass of fighting with each over bills that nobody knows what’s in,” Longwell added. “It just looks like a cluster.”

    Sarah, sweeheart, it doesn't LOOK a like clusterf--k. It IS a clusterfu--k.

Yeah. A Republican operative self selects a whoppping nine people, says they're all democrats, and then publicizes the thesis she had going into the session.

You ARE right about this being typical Politico fare, though. Just not the way you think you are.

That being said, are they necessarily wrong with regards to the general feeling that the US is stuck in a never ending pandemic cycle. This is particularly true among the vaccinated who feel that they have done their part to get out of the pandemic, but see an intractable group of largely Republicans that are entirely unwilling to do their part and are increasingly antagonistic.

Now, blaming the Biden administration for the inaction is interesting, but it fits into the belief that the US is not heading in the right direction and that the ruling party is why it isn't going in the right direction. One thing the Dems have been really bad at is firing up the masses to go after Republicans for their shortcomings, while the opposite is definitely not true.

In addition to the above, once Biden's agenda passes, I suspect a whole lot of people will begin to feel better about their situation within 9-10 months, as the benefits of the agenda (jobs, improved infrastructure, economic relief, etc.) begin to take hold.

The Democrats are also bad at firing up their base to push for the things they Democrats and their base want.

The Democratic base has as a counterpart actual Democratic moderates who push against them. Any moderate counterparts in the Republican Party turned out to be mythical at least in their support among voters.

I read that she joined YOUR team. Not true?? Fill us in. or perhaps you're assuming just by the label.

Meanwhile, not a one off, by any means, as evidenced by other sources I've pointed to, and this quote from the piece.

It’s a point echoed by nearly a dozen strategists who have compiled or reviewed research into Biden’s precipitous decline.

Someday you will grasp reality. Apparently, today is not that day.

It's not the moderate Democrats standing in the way, it is the Conservative Democrats. Moderate Democrats are the majority of the party and are closely aligned with Biden's politics. The issue is the small number of Conservative Democrats like Manchin and Sinema that are holding the party hostage.

And that justifies top down mandates from unelected and elected but unaccomplished Washingtonian deep state lifers?

Or maybe that "intractable" group doesn't like being coerced and prefers to be a set of free actors making free choices, party affiliation notwithstanding. You know, according the principles that are the foundation of the Republic.

What will it take for you lovers of Democratic Party top down heavy handed coercive and dicatorial authoritarian governance to wake up?

Maybe something like this, exacerbating the already grave nursing shortage?

in recent weeks large health care systems like Kaiser Permanente and Legacy Health have put thousands of staff across the country on leave because of they don’t want to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Or this, because the airline and travel and hotel industry has been crushed by the consequences of these stupid lockdown, and have to go hat in hand to the Federal government, which of course, YOUR side loves loves loves:

And by the way, don't trot out the "formal statement" from the pilot's union-- they HAVE to go with that charade if the walkout is actually in response to the mandate....

See everybody, above are the words from an individual who doesn't know statistics, and has swallowed whole a bunch of gigantic myths that serve the interests of dork brains like Lori Lightfoot and Bill de Blasio, and every other mayor of big Democratic cities riven with inner city crime and gang murders, as well as racialist grifters like Ibrahim X. Kendi, Al Sharpton, and a whole bunch of other midwits.

First, the recalcitrants have had over 6 months to voluntarily get vaccinated and the only reason the mandates are coming out now is because they have refused to do so on their own despite literal bribes to get vaccinated. However, it has been discovered that the most effective way to get people off the sidelines and into the vaccine queue is for their employer to implement mandates.

Second, not all hospital workers are nurses and doctors. While there have been layoffs of nurses, the largest percentage of workers are in support roles. Additionally, any nurse that gets laid off because they refuse to get vaccinated doesn't deserve to be a nurse and should be out of a job because they don't actually believe in protecting themselves or their patients.

Third, I'm not sure what Southwest Airline's implementation of the mandates has to do with the cancellations this past weekend. As the article you linked says, SWA just announced their mandate last week and employees have until the middle of December to get fully vaccinated. Additionally, United Airlines found that once they made their mandate, 97% of employees got vaccinated and the remaining 3% were put on unpaid administrative leave and given more time to get vaccinated, some of which have already returned to work vaccinated.
