Biggest question for me is who will be the keeper for the Rapids. Irwin looked really rusty last Sunday night. If he has to go again I hope he's up to speed. Both sides will be missing players due to call-ups. My guess is that Warner will start in place of Acosta.
William Yarbrough trained yesterday and today. I’d classify him as probable for #MINvCOL. #Rapids96 CC: @MLSFantasyBoss @riffbw— Matt Pollard (@LWOSMattPollard) October 9, 2021
1-1 draw, goal by Barrios. Minnesota is missing more than we are to callups, which will help, but I think our losses are probably more critical. I'm still concerned we don't match up well with Minnesota in midfield though. If we can get out of this game with a point and without Abubakar picking up a yellow that will suspend him for the Rocky Mountain Cup match next week I'll feel ok about the result. http://view-from-the-couch.blogspot.com/2021/10/colorado-looking-to-improve-on-playoff.html
This looks like a tie. However, the Rapids score a late goal for a 2-1 win. Bassett with the game winner.
I think the Rapids avenge their poor showing in last years playoffs. I also think they will be looking to avenge their butts getting whooped by Seattle. Gonna be a hard fought game, but think the Rapids squeak out the win - and that Bassett shakes of his goal scoring curse.
Yarbrough is officially listed as Questionable in the media notes. The only player listed on the injury report for the Rapids.

Hey look, they found the seam between the right wing back and the central defender...again. Stop playing the damn 5-3-2!
How on earth does a ball roll between the legs of not one, but two defenders and into the back of the net like that. Come on
Well aside from the first 7-10min or so and Minnesota’s goal, Rapids have looked fairly lively. Namli is doing pretty well too
Irwin made his best save all year by jumping off the bench and preventing Trusty from taking the quick throw-in. Had the throw-in been taken VAR could not have gone back to the PK (can't go back past the last stoppage of play).
That miss…oof lol. The ball took soooo long to get to him, he had way to much time to think about what to do with it that he just skies it wide right. Thunderous PK tho. That’s about as good of a PK as anyone could take
