It can work, but if I was gonna start Falcao I'd do it in Barranquilla.

I think this only works if we are able to hold possession. Watching an aged Falcao running after the ball is going to be rough

God please lets not start Falcao away to Uruguay as a sole striker, we've seen this fail over and over and that was with Falcao 3-4 years younger.

Rumor has it Cavani will not play today.
They do have good backups at striker but Cavani usually kills us so I wouldn't mind him sitting this one out.

He is in good form though and JuanFer could provide him some similar service that he has gotten at Rayo.

But yes, I agree I rather see Duvan in this one.

Looks pretty good although I would opt Lerma for Uribe in that DMF. But Rueda is not benching Uribe.

Changing gears a bit to the yellow card situation...
...we already know that we have so many guys who can miss the Brasil match.
The key ones for me would probably be Barrios and Duvan. And Ospina of course.

What has not been mentioned is that Uruguay has a bunch of guys on yellow too including both their CBs and their backup CB. They do not want to miss the Argentina match on Sunday.

Maybe that helps us in the end and they won't be as physical if Falcao plays.

The KEY match for them is our game. Not Argentina. Yes, that is their clasico and without a doubt they wont want to miss it but OUR head to head is far more important based on current standings and the opportunity to put some space between them and us. Losing to Argentina is in their cards just like losing to Brazil is likely in ours.

    - Brazil has Venezuela (away), us (Away), Uruguay (home)

    - Ecuador has Bolivia (home), Venezuela (Away), us (Away)

You just hope that for both the bookend games this month the matches mean a little more to our guys - this should be about pride as much as the table.

It may be the key but they may be more hesitant to do a stupid foul which I hope we can take advantage of.
Hopefully our Strikers attack them and force them into tough decisions.

I don't think I would ever describe 'hesitation' and 'Uruguay' in the same sentence. From my kinder years, they have always played all-out brutal, balls-out futbol. Always(maybe with the one exception of that Arg-Uru 2002WCQ where they both played to a 'hand-shake' tie that left us out of the WC).

    Anyhow, I hope you're 100% dead on but I expect a battle.

Yes, It is hard to take the brawler out of the brawl. It is in their blood.

From what I have seen of Godin lately he has lost a step though. I hope he does go all out cause I think he can cause a penalty with the wrong timing. Or get a couple yellows similar the Italian defender Bonucci did yesterday.

If I do a Zoom meeting and privately share the codes, am I able to present the Colombia game?
