Well, he won't have Ngolo Kante in midfield - when he came on at halftime against us the other day, it was basically game over.
Newcastle being bought by a Saudi-backed investment fund. Basically, they'll be the new PSG/Man City. Can't see Spurs breaking into the top 6 at this rate in a couple of years, even at our very best.
A nice result for Golara's people down at the Azteca last night. Very respectable draw. Early days yet, but Canada looking a decent shout for WC qualifying.
I believe only the second time in our history we've gotten a point down there, so a decent start drawing away to the two toughest teams in the group.
Don’t worry Financial Fair Play will keep things fair as Man City found out! I’ve stuck around through the spiral of greed so I suppose I’ll continue to do so, but I do wonder if there comes a point when football will be like supporting the Washington Generals unless your team is owned by some Russian gangster or oil magnate?
Kane to Newcastle confirmed, January, 200M Isn't there a 'fit and proper' test for owners? And MBS apparently passes? I know I know, it's not him but an investment fund. Riiiiiiiight.
Better than what we did in Panama. I will be in Columbus Wednesday night for our qualifier v Costa Rica. I pray we put out a better side and put in a better effort in that one.
It’s sort of fun watching last week’s game play out in reverse for United. Down 2-0 at the half. Booed off the pitch by their own fans. Playing rubbish. Ole sitting on the bench. It’s even better knowing we grabbed Conte from under their nose.
I agree wholeheartedly but honestly I think the 'United are rubbish' narrative is overdone. Until recently they had 29 away games undefeated. Top 4 every full season he's been there and a European final. Sure, relative to expectations, and the money spent, it is underachieving. And long may it continue.
