Cruz Azul game just popped up on my ParkMobile app yesterday. I imagine it will be on there a week before the game.
Mexico game application results are going out now. I just got an email that my order was filled with four tickets in the Bailey.
If we get a bit healthy over the next month getting Reyna and Pulisic back, I think we can stand toe to toe.
It is kind of a win-win in my opinion. Either the team holds serve against Mexico, or the USSF gets raked over the coals for taking the game out of Columbus.
I've pointed this out a few times, and no one's really taken notice... The U.S. was 4-0 in Columbus against Mexico when the game was on ESPN. The last go-round was on Fox, and we lost 2-1. Should have left the game here and let ESPN have it.
But their new stadium is famous for the homefield advantage, right? Without checking, FCC must be undefeated there
Espns soccer coverage hasn't been the same since Tirico left. Was still decent during the euros which I barely lost. I think minny would be next but this is the last cycle where it really matters anyway.
Anybody see that the Nordecke won't be General Admission for this match? People have said that but I haven't seen anything official
I am pretty sure for various legal reasons that US Soccer has to officially say it's assigned. In reality, I'm sure it will be GA.
well that sounds like a mess depending on the proportion of out of towners & general level of inebriation
I wish I could get a straight answer. Honestly, I'm not sure it really matters other than to a few Karens who seem to insist on getting there 10 minutes before kickoff and demanding *THEIR* seat which *THEY* paid for. Why can't it just be "If your ticket has a row/seat on it and you expect to watch the game from that seat, get there early. If you get asked to move over, don't be an ass. It won't kill you to move a few feet over. If you want to watch with a small group, enter the section with the group. Don't save seats for people not yet in the stadium." That too. It seems like it hasn't been a big problem in the past. The policy I mentioned above has basically been the rule since the early 90s.
I guess my concern as someone who gets there 10 minutes before kickoff is trying to squeeze in somewhere at the top and having some jagoff from Seattle tell me these are their seats
They can't let people figure it out on their own and hope it works out. The easy solution is to make it GA, because there will be more people confused about assigned seating than otherwise.
