Not much of a video, but still nice to see the city marketing that there were three home games - and three wins - going on simultaneously in the Arena District on Wednesday: Three teams, three wins, one great night!Nationwide Blvd. made history on Wednesday hosting the @CLBClippers, @ColumbusCrew and @BlueJacketsNHL all on the same night. Did anyone see Etienne punch the plexiglass in the player seating area after he came out of the game? He punched it maybe three times with his right hand. I always record the game, go to the game and watch the recorded game later. At the end of the broadcast they showed a montage from the game and that was in there. Either he was unhappy with coming out or unhappy with how he played.
Or maybe Plexiglas really pisses him off. I saw that in the montage as well but do not recall seeing it during the game. Edit: went back and watched it again. It's at the very end of the broadcast, maybe 30 seconds from the sign-off. Moreira is sitting a few feet away. Etienne punches the plex screen 3 times (could be more that's all they show) very quickly and rather hard and he looks pretty angry.
Was also in the r/Columbus sub-reddit with decent upvoting. A number of comments about DORA in place and "working". Also good to see positive thoughts about the area in general and that all three will contribute to a good short term future for downtown.
