I wasn't aware that the light blue sections had 2 different price points. I don't believe I paid $950/seat (I'm in row 2 of 243), but I can't confirm that since all past invoices are zeroed out.
I'm in the nordecke so there's nothing to egregious here and I'll probably renew anyway (might cut back on # of seats) - but I did send an email asking for clarification on ticket exchanges + how many games this is actually for. It'd be great to know if the leagues cup was included (doubt it) & it's really grinded my gears having to sell tickets at a loss.
I'm not going to renew for a full season. Might get a partial season package or just buy for the games I want to see in person.
I do not have a membership rep since mine quit early on this year. I called the number on the email on Friday and no one has returned my call yet. I will probably renew (even though I'm not crazy about the $92 price hike per seat) but I have questions: I have credits but are those credits correct from what I can tell we have not been credited for the us open cup game that was not played. I was told by Marisa a couple of months ago that this would happen once it was determined the game wouldn't be played. It won't be played yet no credits Also what is next years number based on 17 or 18 games? Thirdly, I need to drop a seat because of the passing of my mother. I am not renewing for 6 seats when I only need 5 seats. This needs to be changed before I can hit renew. There seems to be a big push to renew and even saw a stand at the game on my way out, but yet no one can call me back?
My dad and I are renewing our two tickets but moving sections. I like ours at the top of 113 but at the angle we have a partially obstructed view from the ADA section.
Has anyone sat in both the upper and lower south end? I like the view in the lower deck, but if the upper deck view is good, I can save money going up there.
I believe the only option at this point is to Renew Pay the down payment Change # of seats and locations at a date TBD. From what I understand there is no option to change locations or add/drop seats if you don’t renew first. Select 10 month payment plan and they can always adjust the payments after the price adjustments.
I spoke with my old guy at the last game--they are seriously understaffed (like, as I recall, 8 people for 30 positions, or something like that) but are aggressively hiring. I get that, as it is true everywhere. I mean that was one of the reasons given why Sunflower Cafe just closed. If you talk with them at the next game, especially if you are going to the Campeones Cup, you might have a better chance of getting an answer.
I'm in row 1 in 208. It's decent, though I sometimes have trouble seeing goals at the other end. That's why I'd like better replay.
It only makes sense. Until everyone who is going to renew does so there's no way of knowing what seats are going to be available. The only alternative would be to throw everything out and start over from scratch. By the same token, changing your seats may be largely problematical anyway. If, say, 10% of current stm's don't renew, those are pretty much gonna be the seats available to.choose from. It could be as little as 5% of the stadium. Subtract the expensive ones you can't afford and the cheaper.ones you don't want and that doesn't leave a huge pool.to choose from. Some of those might be better than what you now have, Some are surely worse. So it's not going to be like " hey I want these seats now". The odds are.those seats aren't going to be available. Which is why there is no big rush to renew seats and, conversely, why they're offering big "prizes" you might win if you do. The window.for renewal is what it is and nobody can move much of anyplace until that window.is closed. Then the question is who gets first crack at the available seats. It'll be interesting to see how they handle.that. Surely many, if not most, people interested in changing will end up in the same seats they have now. And guess what? By the time this becomes clear you will have already agreed to renew your current seats. Works well for them.
The Jackets have been doing this for quite a few years. It also saves staff time in following up on people who have not renewed but probably will. While we probably will never know, MLS being as closed-mouth as they are, it would be interesting to see what the renewal rate, at the end of the day, actually is.
They did call me back last night. I think his name was Josh, but to be honest I was taking the dogs out at the time so I wasn't paying tons of attention when he told me his name. He is going to call me back tonight because he said the box office will have to drop the seat I need dropped. He also is supposed to get back to me about whether prices are based on 17 games next year or on the 18 games it has been. He thought this year was on 17 games, but it was based on 18. As for the credits he said he talked to Marisa and she said she thought the U.S. Open Cup game was credited back, but I told him I'm pretty sure it was not. I told him I would go through my information I printed and let him now if they credit they had was correct. I did an "audit" this morning of my 2021 season tickets and besides the mysterious $3 difference in my credits that happened after the first game I agree with their credit through game 4. However this is the same credit they have now which means that the U.S. Open Cup game credit is not yet in my credits. That for me is a $400 difference. I will be going over this with the rep tonight when he calls back today. My suggestion to everyone else is to do your own audit and make sure your credits are correct. Unless this is isolated to me, you most likely never received your U.S. Open Cup credit.
Wow, so that is based on 17 games. So not only did they raise ticket prices they also went from 18 games to 17 games. My tickets are $1,292/17=$76
Happens in a lot of areas of life, frankly. It's been a long time, for example, since a standard half gallon of ice cream really was a half gallon.
That doesn't make it okay. We know ticket prices went up again, but they didn't mention that it is also one less game. In my opinion it is pretty sneaky. They are making it harder and harder to remain a season ticket holder and I have been one since the 2nd season.
I have not sat in both, however, I used to sit in the NW corner (so lower bowl) in HCS. We considered the NE corner in the new stadium, but when I saw the diagram about the seats and where they were relative to the field and the price difference, we elected for upper south end. I'm actually really happy with the view; we're row 3 section 204. My only complain is I'd prefer to be closer to the aisle.
I'll be passing on season tickets. I always end up not being able to use a chunk of them, anyway, and just have end up selling or giving them away. I'll be shocked if picking up single match tickets is very difficult next season.
