I hope Rose has spent the week working on improving our defensive issues. Gladbach are in poor form, meaning this could very well be one of those games where we drop the ball and lose 3-1. I also hope that our players don't take their foot off the pedal until the ref blows the final whistle, as we're allowing our opponents to get back into the game by doing so.

Lewandowski didn't score vs Greuther Fürth, si let's hope Håland can capitalise on this.

We will have to make do without Håland and Reus, but Moukoko will make his first ever start, so let's hope he explodes. I also hope Malen scores his first goal, as I think it would do him a world of good.

    Dahoud Witsel Bellingham
    Moukoko Malen

3 man backline with 2 wingbacks apparently.
Not having Haaland and Reus is a major loss. It sucks because the recent games were often challenging. The bench is pretty thin as well.
It's hard for me to see us controlling the game with this lineup but we'll have the numbers in the center. We'll have to take advantage of counter attacks and everyone needs to be involved in defense.

Lucky goal for Gladbach to take the lead but we aren't playing good football at all. Hard to see where the goals are supposed to come from for us. Barely any even remotely promising situations.

Dahoud with the second yellow for a simple hand gesture to complain about a situation that you see dozens of time in every game.

Yes a terrible decision, but we are an awfully put together squad.

No wingers, Dahoud only decent midfielder.

Full of no 10s. Bellingham for as good as he sometimes play is just a 10 and does nothing in midfield. Brandt, Reyna, Reinier all play in this position too. Add is Reus.

    Malen a pointless signing.

Zorc has a lot of questions to answer for. Anyway. We will probably still make top 4.

Yes, we look like shit but the ref is such a cvnt and destroys the game. Who even wants to watch such a game now.
A yellow because it insulted his ego that Dahoud was slightly angry about a decision. His reaction wasn't that aggressive and it was over so fast. The ref didn't even know that it was the second yellow at first but is too much of an ass to just take it back and give Dahoud the final warning. If that's the benchmark for suspensions, the players need to turn into robots and show no emotions at all.

Malen has looked pretty mediocre yet again. Is the Raiola connection the reason he was signed, because I really struggle to see the point in his signing. A Sancho type replacement was needed.

Aytekin is a piss poor ref btw. How the ******** he gets UEFA matches is beyond me.

BMG were on a negative run, so of course we lost. Are we some kind of charity club?

Recruitment has been terrible for a long time. I feel for Rose we have a completely imbalanced squad.

We try and buy bargains or players for the future, without identifying what the squad needs.

    Last season we needed a
    GK
    CDM
    WINGER
    RB

A RB was probably the least urgent.

We got the Gk and Kobel looks good. Then we blew our budget on another striker

We only have two central midfielders: Witsel and Dahoud. Witsel is not great.

    We lack wingers.

It's a mess. Rose should salvage top 4. However, we have the added problem that Reus is now playing for Germany, so will be more injury prone. There's nothing to be excited for this season. Bayern will walk their 10th.

i think it was mainly a perfect storm of bad luck (the injuries, the sending off) but also gladbach played very physical and we couldnt deal with it.

this ref is usually good, but his call on dahoud was very wrong!
