Yeah, I figure the same thing. I don’t necessarily expect him to get called up at the moment, but say he tears it up this season — is he done done? I mean he’s only 28: it’s not like we’re talking about someone in his late 30s.

Papu, for instance, didn’t start being useful for the NT until he was 32. I remember like 2 years back I asked here if people thought we should call him up based on his Atalanta form and the answer was an overwhelming “no” based on his age, yet now everyone loves him.

Of course Lanzini has to show consistency, but I think if he plays like he did in 2013/14 all year he should at least be considered as a back-up rotational alternative.

Hopefully, it gets confirmed soon. Will be great to have the PL based players in the NT with not much hassle.

Hopefully they'll do this, what they were doing was ridiculous.

Also, im still waiting for FIFA to give us our 3 points after that MAMARRACHO from ANVISA. Im still salty, tbh.

Messi will not play against Montpellier on Saturday (9/25) and might miss the CL game against ManCity (9/28)

As long he's fit for qualifier, then its all good for us. PSG won all 6 games in the league so far, not exactly in trouble.

Messi could just play 20 games, still probably win the league.

Aston Villa smash and grab a 1-0 win late at Manchester United! Emi with a big save in the first half but didn't have to do too much after, including on a penalty kick that was skied over the bar by Bruno Fernandes (one of the best takers, maybe he was intimidated? Emi also dared Penaldo to take it). Buendia came on in the 78th minute before the goal.

Messi probably promised huge bonus for Emi and Lanzini if they could stop CR from winning and they did lol

We all know CR's afraid of Emi's legendary celebration if he stops his penalty.

I love that we have a next level psycopath like Dibu Martinez in our team. He is an asshole, a shittalker, he doesnt know fear, he will play with player heads, he will mess them up. Huge advantage for Qatar.

Love the guy, he is iconic.

He even angry and pushed Acuna when he made defensive error against Ecuador. The guy has "take no prisoners" attitude. Our guys are much stronger mentally these days but still, Dibu is next level compare to the rest.

Lautaro will no doubt hit no less than 20 this season. Isnt this is type of finishing that we've been waiting since Crespo/Bati?

We are in good hands with Emi. The guy is also hilarious. Next level ball buster.

I’ve noticed Atletico are playing like crap now since they brought back the Portuguese-German-Frenchman and Correa was on the bench today. More times than not, Cholo is his own worst enemy.

Foyth apparently had an outstanding match v Madrid. Glad to see him continuing to improve.

You know, his striking ability reminds me quite a bit of Scocco‘s, who knew how to hit the ball beautifully.

As a Argentina and Villa fan, yesterday was just great. Not only Dibu with his mind games/trash talking/epic celebration but having him back there brings so much calmness to the defence and whole team really. Can't love the guy more right now.

Buendia with a cameo as well, had in particular one very good action. Showed som terrific footwork in the box. He is not a fast player but very "quick" shifting the ball from right to left foot etc. Hopefully he can get a run in the team and claim a spot.

In other news, Dybala looked great for Juve vs Sampdoria and scored a stunning goal.... but then he gets injured again, of course, looks like the hamstring this time.

Dybala goal looks like Mbappe goal in WC final. Except Dybala did it first time without controlling the ball. He also should have had an assist but Chiesa pulled fatso type of miss.

man, he is really coming along in the last year. If he continues to score, I hope that the team that poaches him is a good European league

Spurs scored only 4 goals in 6 games while conceided 9. I hope Cuti & Lo Celso doesnt follow the same trajectory as Lamela & Foyth. Both Lo Celso and Cuti were benched.

That club seems like a graveyard for our guys.

I’ve been high on him for sometime, unlike some other gallina, :whistling:. I think he’s going to be something to look out for, and just look at his numbers recently. But as I always say, his next move is critical. Avoid England, avoid Germany, and sure as hell avoid the Eastern Bloc. Italy or Spain. I hope River do not get overly excited if some MLS team offers 17 million for his ass. But the good news is that he is a bit more motivated than playing in Major League Snoozer. I think he should go for the same price Lautaro went for when he left Racing.

Cuti should never have gone to Spurs. The only positive right now is that at least he comes to the Selección well rested.
