This qualifies him for a spot at the forward position in the US. Bring him in.

Too good for the U23, not good enough for Arsenal.

You'd think they'd be more eager to send guys out on loan after ESR's meteoric rise. Frustrating to see as an Arsenal fan.

Who knows, maybe the kid likes living in London too much to get sent out to the Midlands or Scotland. There are a ton of reasons the kid isn't out on loan that we will never hear about. Thankfully he's at least getting on a gameday roster here and there.

Arsenal sucks at loaning players. It's a long-term problem they have, so I'm assuming it's their issue unless I see evidence to the contrary.

Maybe they don’t want to grow up to be their cross town rivals who have a “loan army”. As I recall they loaned out Zelalem a few times didn’t they?

Yeah, to the Scottish and Dutch second divisions.

Like I said, they are awful at loaning players out.

Serge Gnabry to Tony Pulis's West Brom is the most egregious example.

It all results in underdeveloped players who then can't be sold on for more than peanuts because they don't have worthwhile professional resumes.

It obviously drives me crazy. It's terrible player and financial management.

I remembered Musah said something he is a London boy. Then thinking about Musah didn’t see anything in Arsenal in his future and got away to Spain.

Ridiculously good. And we like young American-eligible strikers a lot around here!

Just don't do that move on Roy Keane...

Yesterday I checked and FB was buried at the bottom of page 6. A YA at Arsenal would have received a hell of a lot more attention 3 years ago (we are spoiled). Yes, I know not much has happened with him recently and Arsenal isn't good right now (not to mention the fact that he seems to be more interested in England than in us). But still. Hope he gets called back up soon. He didn't show much the first time around, but he's really been lighting it up for the U23s.

ReSigning with Arsenal was a dumb move. He should’ve gone to Germany as bundesliga teams were interested. Now he’s stuck in this limbo. Needs a loan in January.

He scored in the 56th minute, but the Young Guns were eliminated from arguably the greatest tourney on the planet thanks to the unforgiving nature of PKs.
