Robin Fraser is doing a WONDERFUL job with the Rapids. Just as a point of order, the Rapids are winning again, 1-0, from a corner.

 

Terrible Rapids mistake levels the game at 1.

Great shot for the actual goal though.

 

You like to think people at this level - while they may wish to use one foot over the other - they are capable of using either foot. Namli though . .. .

 

I jinxed the Rapids. They have played like crap since I posted on this game.

The 2nd best Texas team in the standings fired their GM on August 30. The Dynamo coach is probably also on the way out.

In other Texas news, the Dynamo beat Dallas on Saturday to clinch the return of El Capitán to Houston for the first time since 2017. That series is now tied at 8-8.



If Houston wins at Austin on October 24 then the Dynamo will clinch the Copa Tejas MLS, the new trophy contested among the Texas MLS teams. "Top Texas team" is still up for grabs.

 

Lopez was on the score sheet three times, but, it was Marcos Lopez, the Peruvian left back that scored the first goal for SJ. Javier "Chofis" Lopez, the Mexican attacking midfielder/forward scored twice.

 

In a game that should surprise absolutely no one, Miami is down 1-0.

 

You'd think someone might want to mark Mukhtar. Good finish though. 1-0 Nashville in the first 6 minutes.
