If he can play better than Cardona did this Summer we have a really good chance at 9 points.

For all the fat jokes we make on Cardona, he somehow is in involved in many of our goals when he plays. But they tend to be scrappy goals.

JFQ definitely brings panache/grace to his ball movement.

I don’t think putting Quintero to start in la Paz is a smart idea. Last 30
Minutes maybe but dude gets gassed when fully match fit in perfect conditions by the 1st half.

I mean I hope to be converted to the church of Quintero at the end of this 3 game round.

I mean him and Diaz together will be interesting

I still don’t understand how. Nothing some conditioning can’t fix. He probably doesn’t run or jog much

Don't think that's fair. La Paz is tough. Lucho Diaz has the best lungs on the team and he lost his concentration constantly tonight.

It’s more of a dig for his overall condition throughout his career.

Hopefully James picks up some rhythm for the Paraguay game, or Rueda finds a creative that he likes. I would not play with a 10 in Brazil though...

If he is there and fit, I would start James vs. Brasil. He plays up against them historically.

Maybe China will ease their rules for Covid by then if things are under control. Their quarantine rules are overkill, vaccinated and tests for a day or two will have a real high success rate to the point that hardcore quarantine is overkill. That would be best case scenario, then not only do we get Quintero but we get Quintero in match shape.
