Rest rest rest! Pogba and Bruno played every game over the international break. They need rest. I think 4 games in 9 days. I'd keep Varane and Maguire together unless one of them has a knock for the sole purpose of building their relationship. Outside of that, changes where possible.

    --------------------------Ronaldo
    Jesse-----------------------------------------Sancho
    ---------------------------Donny
    ------------Fred----------------------Pogba/Matic
    Shaw---------------------------------------------Dalot
    ----------------Maguire----------Varane
    -----------------------------DDG

Donny to play 90 and drop back to the pivot in the 2nd half when Pogba is rested. Jesse or Mata to 10, Elanga on the wing, Mase or Elanga on to fill the spot on the wing.

    I like that lineup.

I would like to see Bailly play. It is a must win game. And we win our home games we are through.

I’m guessing it will be something along the lines of

    ------------------------Greenwood
    Martial-----------------------------------------Lingard
    ---------------------------Donny
    ------------Fred----------------------Pogba
    Shaw---------------------------------------------Dalot
    ----------------Maguire----------Lindelof

I think it’s going to be a strong XI. I reckon Varane starts to increase the familiarity with Maguire. Same for Sancho, probably Ronaldo. I’m hoping for RB Dalot and a pivot of Donny and Matic, who should start and come off around halftime for Fred.

If Matic is benched to spare his legs then that’s fine too. I just have huuuge reservations about a Donny-Fred pairing, I want Donny to do well and I’m certain being alongside Fred would ******** him up, and Ole wouldn’t try VDB in the pivot again for months.

Ole really loves his 'Heisenberg' TAG: not a bad choice at all though, if we're being honest.

I did! I think Jesse works better than Tony does as a foil for Ronny and Donny.

VDB HAS to start today right? VDB, Pogba & Bruno midfield?

Can only hope that Donny will start but it's highly unlikely he would in that midfield (way too weak defensively).
If he's going to get a start, it will be next to Fred in all likelihood. Ideally, Matic would be the best option beside him but having played over the weekend, that is unlikely as well.

Makes sense... VDB, Fred & McTominay? Resting Pogba maybe.

Pretty strong side put out by Ole and rightfully so. Important to get to a good side and YB at home can't be completely overlooked. Elated to see Donny finally getting a shot and hope he can make the best of it.
The attack is just 'raaaaahhh': I mean, pretty much any combo Ole decides to go with could be intriguing but this one could look extra saucy. Win though, above all else.

Great starting line-up indeed! Very surprised that WB & Pogba weren't rested. A big win away from home here to start off the Champions is much needed to keep the momentum going...

No reason to leave Varane out and play Maguire. Need to build their chemistry. Sigh.

Pogba LW, Sancho RW w/ Ronaldo central and VDB from deep should be tasty. If we can keep them to less than 2 goals, we should win.

Poor AWB. He now has to play with Lindelof at RCB again. No far post issues with Varane at CB (who doesn't need hand holding).

My guess is maybe Varane needs to work on his fitness and if that's the case, that's why Dalot isn't playing. I'd expect him to get some minutes if all goes well.

    I like i like.

Praying that VDB proves himself and earns more playing time.

Ole giving Lindelöf pity minutes? Or is Varane resting because of international duty?
