This is a perfect example of how refs can dictate the style of play in a league. Now, our back line has to play it safe and be conservative. We can't hold the ball back there because we have no idea what this ref is going to call. Even at halftime. All to play for. Vamos!
It’s not on directv and I thought to late to look to see if I could stream it. I’ve got the race on my computer.
I see that those peckerheads from Harrison are wearing the all-black DCU-knockoff kits. LOL The last time they wore those against us at Laughing Cow Arena, they suffered an upset loss against a poor, Ben Olsen-era DCU-- just over one year ago. Dickheads . . .
Nobody came to Abila, just move to a position, get in front of the ball. That's the killer instinct we lack, no one getting open or trying to help jam it in
After that gift early, One Point on the road is pretty good. On Yordy's header, the ball took a deflection then hit the ground past the GK, and likely had an odd spin on it. That can cause the ball to drift up and hang in the air longer than you would expect. And half a second is all it takes to miss right in front of the goal.
Who the ******** was that referee? I thought they were supposed to pass some kind of training to be licensed? This ************************ only called fouls that were called by his AR & 4th official, first. And that went both ways. And nobody that ugly should be allowed to be called Fabio.
Well that was dire. While Pines probably was fouled, he never, ever should let a smaller player muscle him off the ball. Major fail. Also, Skundrich was absolutely a non-factor. Only time he touched the ball was to turn it back over. Worst stint for him in a DCU kit. Looks like we should be searching for pictures of Nyeman on milk cartons. He's behind Skundrich and Felipe on the depth chart. While Reyna missed an open goal, that was tough given the ball was bouncing and spinning. I did notice in the second half when Paredes was caught up field, Reyna busted ass to cover for him and disrupted an RBNY break out. He's playing at a much higher level this season. The players have to figure out Abila, he is a beast to handle, but needs runners to provide support. A horse's ass wouldn't want to be called a Sbiga. What a tool.
They didn't play very well so a point is fine. Redbull is whatever, DC can handle them easily. I'm checking out Atlanta, they are coming on really strong. Good to see Montreal lose at home, Nashville are separating themselves with the Revs and maybe NYC. If United can keep getting points consistently, they'll make the playoffs. If I'm dreaming I can see them beating anybody. Flores, Kamara, Arriola Paredes, Canouse, Moreno, Gressel PInes, Birnbaum, Najar Hamid Can we get 5 or 6 games at the end of the season with these guys healthy and in form? Reyna and Abila nice attacking options off the bench? I'd feel a little better about the defense if Hines-Ike were an option, but I like how Birnbaum is ramping up his game. He looks quicker to react, and therefore quicker in general and that's really encouraging. I believe if they can have some good fortune with health at the end of the season, they could win a Cup, I absolutely believe it. Otherwise, I'm picking dark horse Nashville. Tough to break down, with one guy on fire and a couple others right behind him.
