Give me an F'in break. How hard is it not to bring someone into your room when you are about to play a critical WCQ game?

    Has Wes been in form?
So far for club and country, he has been below his usual form.

I didn't hear anything except fans of the USMNT and Juve yelling "get your shite together"!

Let's see what he gives us today.

With this depleted squad he is going to have to have an impact.

    On Paramount + now.

McKennie finding himself in highly advanced positions and the end ball, quite frankly, sucks. Not been impressed

McKennie has been largely invisible today. A bit disappointing.

By the way, I know it is very trendy to pile on Weston right now, and he did let his team down, but he remains one.our most important players. He can reform his behavior as needed, but he's one of.the most effective players we've ever had in the MNT. We're poorer in the long term without him.

Behavior aside he’s looked awful for club and country the past few months

McKennie replaced by Ramsey. Disappointing outing from him.

Check the post history, I’ve been doubting his quality way before this past international break.

Agreed he’s an important player for us,if not for the only reason he keeps Acosta on the bench and away from the attacking portion of the field

GB needs to unlock these players who have shown that they can play at a high level but aren’t now.

That's why you never want your striker as the last defensive man. They get confused.

I'm not buying that at all. At all. He is promising for sure, but he isn't even in the convo with some of our best from the past. We'll see if he gets there.

McKennie's main quality was always grit, the one thing that is good to have in your club but vital in national team duty, and he seems to have lost that grit now.

Technically, yes, he's never been Juve quality. But technique is not the only thing that matters.

Lol do you want a cookie? :ROFLMAO:

McKennie looks very confused out there. He also grew frustrated towards the end of his time on the pitch, as his teammates passed him by as an outlet. I thought he was the typical defensive nuisance, but Juventus wants more out of him than that and he failed tonight.

I wonder what his struggles are down to then? He's playing more of a B2B role and further back this under Allegri. The formation I saw had him on the right side of the midfield, but he seemed to be tucked right behind the forward line.

That is what I am seeing too. I actually think he has improved quite a bit technically since arriving at Juve... but this season he just seems to have lost that bright fire in his belly that has always made him so exciting to watch. I am not even sure he is match fit yet... but today he did fine with his passing but looked to be going thru the motions WRT winning duels.

Could be that the WCQ shitstorm is still mentally weighing on him somewhat. Then throw in a bit of jet lag as well.
